24/7/2008 20:22 | Hope you like what you find bookworm, i don't do the indepth research that you do,however i do hold 6000 shares and believe this to be obviously undervalued, its quite an illiquid share and needs more investors being made aware of it hence my comments on SGI board to talk to you over here. Starwood thanks for clearing the figures up. i feel EVEN more confident now. | davidwilkin
24/7/2008 18:29 | starwood I was getting the same figures from a number of different sources so I was assuming that they were correct. The numis estimate makes sense. Many thanks for your explanation. I have downloaded the accounts and will go through them in more detail. Do you have a link for the numis report? | bookworm1
24/7/2008 18:11 | Digital look are not comparing like with like.Motivcom accts show 07 turnover was 85mln with 16.9mln income and 3.3 profit. Numis say 08 will be over110mln turnover with 26mln income and 5mln profit. This share buy back may well have taken out some wobbly investors so with a very low forward pe we could be set for a mini breakout if half year is good. Not many of those these days! | starwood
24/7/2008 17:56 | davidwilkin OT: good timing and good luck with SGI I am looking forward to confirming that everything is on track when they announce their interims 8/8/08. If T/O is anywhere near £10.6m+ then they will achieve their £25m annual target. It has a good discussion thread on ADVFN. Can you thow anymore light on Motivcom's turnover figures? | bookworm1
24/7/2008 17:40 | bookworm, bought SGI today just before the rise at 141.75, i was waiting for the bid to move and i just got in in time, CEL doesnt fit my current profile because of the lack of divi, but i do agree that it is undervalued and recommended it to a friend just before yesterdays rise. | davidwilkin
24/7/2008 11:30 | Starwood only problem is that the £26.5m is the forecast figure for 2008 compared to the actual results of £85.7m last year. I accept that forecasts show a growth in PBT & eps I just would like to know what is causing this change in their business model? davidwilkin interesting that you are watching SFR might post some questions on there as I would be interested how they see the construction market from their perspective. Not into FDP but I did look at it and was impressed with their growth & results but put it behind me. You could take a look at SGI or CEL both underpriced and IMO recession proof with good growth prospects. | bookworm1
23/7/2008 22:28 | Thanks starwood, i was focusing on the profit figure on digital looks website, i believe from memory it is forecast to be £5 mln this year against a market cap of £17mln, the latest co statement said Motivcom may actually benefit from a downturn in the economy. The share buybacks are a positive in as much as the company obviously thinks the shares are cheap and this will increase the eps figure even more. The last broker note i saw for these had a target price of £1.50 O/T bookworm i cant believe you are watching SFR, they are on my buy list hopefully somewhwere near £2, i do business with them with my company, i live approx 12 miles from their factory at Dalton, N Yorkshire. Another small cap i recently bought was FDP - Your probably already in that 1 too if our coincidences keep occuring. | davidwilkin
23/7/2008 15:28 | bookworm, looking at the Numis note, it would appear the £26.5m is fee income up from £16.9m in 2007. The £85.7m looks like turnover. | starwood
23/7/2008 11:03 | davidwilkin just had a quick look. Can you explain why the forecasted sales are only expected to be £26.5m when last year they were £85.7m? | bookworm1
22/7/2008 21:11 | is it a seller cleared, this may of been the drag on price on next to no selling for the last few weeks. i'm sure its going to be a positive for the share price. This has got to be 1 of the cheapest stocks on the market and a decent dividend yield too. | davidwilkin
22/7/2008 17:12 | Any thoughts on the large trades today?. | scottie01
