04/7/2011 10:40 | yep, a rather nice buy there :-) Was at a premium and moved the offer up. CR | cockneyrebel
04/7/2011 09:37 | So who is buying 700,000 MOSB shares? | davy99
01/7/2011 14:26 | Yes CR a good tree shake by the market makers to get out those who are only in for a quick buck, short term traders. A good weekend to all holders. | davy99
01/7/2011 12:25 | cheers Davy99. A nice pull back today for buyers - can't see it lasting long when it starts to move back up - the buyers were keen last week. CR | cockneyrebel
30/6/2011 05:37 | The whole article is interesting, showing how much some people pay for Bespoke or MTM. For Bespoke tailoring £2,500-£4,000 per suit, Moss Bros can offer Bespoke/MTM suits for a fraction of that: Bespoke, made to measure or ready to wear? GOOD VALUE Bespoke is a wonderful process but it can be frustrating few customers are capable suit designers, at least when they start out. But such is the fashion for better-cut suits now that luxury brands like Daks and Alfred Dunhill have started offering MTM services, while even high street brands like Reiss and Moss Bros are getting onboard with good-value MTM. Pick the design off the rail and just wait a few weeks to have a suit that made that fits you better, even if it has none of the handmade quality of a true bespoke number. Full article: | davy99
28/6/2011 21:59 | good luck CR, compared to news of some other retailers it looks like MOSB now with good cash reserves is going to do well. More media exposure needed for this to fly high. Good the Telegraph article (link in prior post) mentioned the share price previously traded in the 200p region. | davy99
28/6/2011 20:17 | the 20k and 10k were mine today. This just looks so good, especially after watching Made in Great Britain last week and seeing Berwin and Berwin on there. CR | cockneyrebel
27/6/2011 11:04 | £20m profit would be nice as Brick hints at, what with their cash and £34m mkt cap :-) CR | cockneyrebel
27/6/2011 09:55 | Nice link Davy99 - cheers :-) To paraphrase Crocodile Dundee - now that's what you call a breakout :-) CR | cockneyrebel
27/6/2011 08:17 | Thanks for that Davy99. Still a long recovery ahead, but if they can get Moss profits up the shares will move in the same direction. | 2breakout
27/6/2011 06:19 | Brian Brick: I'm plotting Moss Bros's climb back up ladder | davy99
24/6/2011 12:17 | Looks like FinnCap have hiked their forecast up to 1.3p eps this year, 3.3p eps in the coming year. Probably what's go the shares moving imo. I'd have thought brokers are still playing it cautiou too at this point, seeing the director buying here. CR | cockneyrebel
24/6/2011 11:21 | Even better, so value 13m, priced to go bust not to go into profit surely. | 2breakout
24/6/2011 11:01 | £31m mkt cap I think 2breakout. Going well today and yes, heavy director buying, especially from Debbie the new Chairwoman/person. CR | cockneyrebel
24/6/2011 10:58 | bought more this morning, looking through the news history directors have been buying loads in the last year. Company is worth about 35m at present and have sold hugo boss and cecil gee for 18.2m combined. Moss stores left with savoy taylor, which they can expand, with valuation of 17m, no debt and going back into profit. Looks a good value buy to me. | 2breakout
24/6/2011 07:31 | cheers Davy, agree about the marking up :-) CR | cockneyrebel
21/6/2011 16:03 | See how quickly the MM's mark back up, they were glad to get a few shares on the cheap. Wonder who the next Director to buy will be. | davy99
21/6/2011 14:25 | Directors loading up with shares. Debbie Hewitt has acquired nearly half a million now. CR | cockneyrebel
21/6/2011 13:01 | it's in the above RNS 2breakout - 28% sorry. CR | cockneyrebel
21/6/2011 12:39 | Yes i watched but didn,t know he was in MOSB. FT small caps report heavily features MOSB and includes Altium analyst upgrading target price from 40p to 46p. Also mentions year end net cash of 23p providing support, this definatley seems a good recovery play to me, although telegraph says avoid. I like the management in place and the work they are doing so will add on dips. | 2breakout
21/6/2011 11:16 | Did you see Made in Britain on BBC last night? Berwin & Berwin doing rather well importing suits from the far east now. Simon Berwin heavily featured - who also happens to be a 29.9% shareholder in MOSB. CR | cockneyrebel
21/6/2011 08:50 | interesting article | 2breakout
20/6/2011 16:31 | The savings from the loss-making Cecil Gee next year must add 0.6p eps to Altium's forecasts for 2.3p alone. If MOSB are trading ahead too then a bet next year's eps could be a fair bit higher still. CR | cockneyrebel
20/6/2011 13:50 | yep, definitely looks interesting, especially with it making a break out. CR | cockneyrebel |
