Ongoing discussion ref to phone trading on Craig's thread, i agree with Mr.Aboii that they aren't a whole lot of use full stop... a notebook is the way to go probably with a vodafone dongle if your out of range of wifi... I ended up getting the HTC HD touch, but to be fair i cant get either TDW platform or IG's to work, haven't really looked into it, TDW says i need to be running IE6/7 and of course the phones use a different version, likewise IG says i need to enable browser cookies, and i've looked everywhere and cant find them - i thought they would be in a jar somewhere, but that just confused the issue evn more, cos customer support didn't understand me when i asked if they come in packets...

A lot of platforms were giving major problems last week, all of city index variants went down regularly, so mobile trading would have been much worse... which dongle have you got - i took out a 3network last year, but the coverage is poor in just about every area i've tried to use it...

CMC have a list of mobiles which support their platform. I'm not having much luck with my new broadband dongle. Even when it connects at 3.6meg, there are too many people sharing to give a useful speed. Had a hairy time on Friday trying to trade and finished up having to close over the phone as the link just froze. It's actually slower too than my mobile was with the same provider.

Out of contract on my mobile and looking for upgrade, but dont know what mobile phone to go for? I would like something that i can trade on, but haven't been able to find out much info from the sales guys at Carphone warehouse/phones4u etc, so wondered if anyone can give some input as to whether the Samsung omnia eg supports Java or at least can provide realtime prices etc I've heard of people being able to place orders with IG on their I-phones, but dont think java can be installed... Any recommendations for a decent attractive phone which i may be able to install and load the TDW (city index) trading platform on, and use while on the go...??? comments welcome. I mention the omnia cos of its looks and previously having had a samsung, but not too bothered, anyone got a blackberry?

http://www.zed.biz/LaNetroZed/comunicacion/Notas_de_Prensa La Netro Zed (translates into thieving spanish bar stewards) ae growing at a very fast rate, makes no mention of a breakdown in revenues though so hard to see how the old Mob territories are doing, but they can not be doing that badly with that level of growth.
