Looks as though Simon Thompson's sell recommendation this lunchtime brought out the bears

>EQUITY were pushing this 4 weeks ago up to 225p

That was then - following their re-appraisal from the update they now have changed their price target to 127p

This company has always been unloved as long as I have followed it - always good value (based on PE, Yield, Tangible Assets) and never attracted a premium.

The trading issues are worrying - how much are the delayed (cancelled?) two orders worth?

(No position)

Falling like a stone. No buyers around.

Waiting as I think I may buy as low as 80p

Looks over done to me.
EQUITY were pushing this 4 weeks ago up to 225p

Oversold but at the moment the mark is winning.

The only hope now is that all the bad news is priced in... ST exited his tip today so that might give some respite once that shakes out!

Tiger - do you have any info about the planning application. I just searched on the Milton Keynes Council site but couldn't find anything under "Molins".

I bought a few more this morning. Then....

Equity Development note suggesting the 2 deferred orders won't be delivered.

HYDRUS
Cash flow at half way was impacted by an increase in stock due to the delayed order.

I was not going back 10 months but looking at the 30p fall from 135 to 105 on these numbers.

Do you think the company is not worth more than 20 million?

The market (which is running scared right now over the whole ) will recover.

I take the dips as buying chances selling down when I feel we reach close to fair value.
That figure is still over 220p a share ( in my opinion)

A December high of over 190 to where we are today is hardly a 'short term price movement'.

Best of luck.

The thing that would concern me is that last years free cashflow was negative and based on statements so far this year they are cashflow negative again. This to me is more concerning than anything else. Perhaps someone can explain to me why this is as there were a number of years of consecutive positive cashflow previously.

Not really true.
ST has picked a cracking little company. Whats has changed?
We may not make 19.5p EPS this year. But we will again next year.

Tell me at close today you can get 5% yield.
You are getting over 240p a share in assets.
We have no debt.
We turn over 5x our market cap a year.

Short term share price movements are there to take weak holders out.

I started at 50p and my last buys were at 140p. AND I BOUGHT OVER 100K

So what will I do Monday?

BUY MORE at this special price.

Have a great weekend.

Terrible. I bought in with ST recommendation, as with others this year. Unfortunately ST appears to possess the kiss of death when he tips a share. Lesson learnt - if a share tipster was any good he wouldn't be a share tipster, he would be lying on a beach in the Bahamas.

What's your source Castleford? The RNS seemed pretty clear. 2 large tobacco machinery orders deferred in H1(neither cancelled nor shipped as of last week) but company hoping to deliver before December.

I don't think the 2 deferred tobacco machinery orders to the Middle East and eastern europe have been shipped yet.

That said Castleford I do believe you're right wrt valuation. The stock looks far too cheap. The company is also trying to get planning permission on some spare land in Milton Keyes for residential housing. Although only a one-off, this could provide some material upside over the next 1-2 years.

We were looking at the first 6 months ending June.
That's gone and that business has been done so I am told.

The note out shows that management 3/4 of the year in are happy with the EPS target.
Going forward we are over 22p very soon.
The shares are far too cheap.

Castleford. Didn't Thursday's RNS say that the 2 large tobacco machine orders had been deferred into H2? Inferring that neither had actually been shipped as yet, but that the company was hoping to do so later in the year?

They flagged up a slow six months in the IMS.
8 months of the year gone and they are pretty sure 18/19p EPS this year.
The big order has now been delivered but missed the half year.
With a 4% yield and underpinned by assets this looks a great deal.

Bagged a few more today as I cannot see anything better out there.

anyone who has not read report leave me an e mail will send it on. then come back and remove it.
