03/1/2007 18:05 | Sorry cr but i'm in a different league to you when it comes to tipping winners, i've lost count over the years of stocks that have risen 300% since i tipped them, of course there's the odd one that fails, you keep banging on about Ptl, maybe i was keen on them but i dont see you or your buddies on the PPR thread now :-)) Remember cr i was the last winner of the m o n e y a m champion investor competition, beat a few thousand players to win the 3 grand first prize, i'm hoping they will start a new competition soon so i can defend my crown and show you amateurs how it's done again :-)) Happy new year.... | quotes_4_u
03/1/2007 17:49 | Dear me, quotes, you do sound a bit hung over. Put your feet up and have a shot of the hair of the dog. You'll feel better, and it'll keep you away from the computer, which seems to make you cross. Happy New Year. :-) | diogenesj
03/1/2007 17:29 | I had a look at that thread David but it's got some of the usual rogues and ramper villians of this bulletin board, you've got Papel Power, a person that ramped Wgp on numerous threads in the 80's, watched it go bust and could not even offer a apology to anybody who may have bought in but that's this bulletin board through and through, all smoke and mirrors, people selling whilst they are pushing stocks, i've had enough of this site and will only look in now and again. I think 2006 was a missed opportunity for me or shall i say selling far too early in most of them, examples are Cfl at 3p, Auk at 3.25p, Dvs at 2.4p and Amu at 68p, i got Mkm right but CfL and Auk were sold for over 100% gains but went onto make 3-400% ! Have i got a tip for 2007....no...nothing stands out, i only hold one stock right now which is Dvs but i'm not tipping it as i cannot be confident to know what they will say/do next ! Amu i really like because of their strong cash generation, if they issued a downbeat xmas sales update then i would pile in on the weakness because i see a takeover there, it's generating cash hand over fist and will make big profits against it's market cap but the business struggles for growth. All im my honest opinion....not tips but two to watch. | quotes_4_u
03/1/2007 16:38 | Hi, Quotes. Have you a share recommendation for 2007? I owe you a debt of gratitude for CFL (a doubler for me ;-) I know you and CR don't get on, that's probably why you haven't posted a 'tip' on his 'shares to double in 2007' thread. I respect you both as top stock pickers (I made a fair whack on CFE ;-) and I'm already up on CR's pick for 2007 (IAG). VBRS, Dave | davidrigsby
03/1/2007 16:36 | Go and get therapy Daydreamer - remember you're the only one that has had three user names here, on the quiet. CR | cockneyrebel
03/1/2007 16:29 | 20% gain and 2 posts liar ! Normally the usual clan would be all over the thread, that's cr, yourself, diogenes, jakleeds, bigbigdave....maybe they are all cr in disguise ! lol Most have sold out but only could admit it :-)) | quotes_4_u
03/1/2007 14:37 | must be some resonable buys being worked through. | deanroberthunt
03/1/2007 11:22 | hello,whats up | robow
28/12/2006 22:50 | ps...i bought my largest holding of Dvs at 2.4p...it's 4.75p bid still ! | quotes_4_u
28/12/2006 20:44 | £5m staged fees over 2 years - so what? That's £2.5m per annum. What will they bottom line out of that lot? 10%? SMC bottomline less than 10% of turnover. So it might be worth £250K p.a. after tax if they are as efficient as SMC when they haven't been in the past. Not as great a deal as it might suggest. Anyway Good luck. I was in SMC @ 42p and have made my wadge on them - but they have actually dodled while AUK have rising 4 fold so your statement isn't quite correct. CR | cockneyrebel
28/12/2006 20:32 | Read tne Rns's CR, you will find that they are a much better play then Smc, whilst Smc has gone nowhere Auk has quadrupled in value ! | quotes_4_u
28/12/2006 20:29 | Because AUK is 13p now doesn't mean it was worth buying at 4p for SMC. AUK make beggar all profit and are blowing about £150-£200K per annum having a box at the Emirates - that's where the punters' investment is going there - on directors' jollies imo. CR | cockneyrebel
28/12/2006 20:23 | Maybe good luck is making 300% on Aim stocks ? All these punters wishing me the best when i make 150% on each stock :-)) Diogenese ! Go back to the Smc thread and i made repeated calls about Auk and why Smc should buy them out when they were under 4p, they are now 13p bid ! | quotes_4_u
28/12/2006 16:58 | quotes_4_u Better luck for 2007 on AIM. Your luck has got to change sometime. | loverat
23/12/2006 21:13 | Lol, quotes: you're sounding a bit of a Scrooge. But I'm determined to think well of you, at least for the festive season. Have a good Yule, and relax. :-) | diogenesj
23/12/2006 18:57 | You sound very bitter Diogenes, sarcastic comments wont get you anywhere ! Please put me back on filter, i have no time at all for people like you ! | quotes_4_u
23/12/2006 17:22 | Sorry, quotes, can't bring myself to read all the stuff you have posted. I've only unfiltered you because it's Christmas, so have a very happy one and I'm glad to hear you made some money for once. :-) | diogenesj
23/12/2006 12:38 | Helps if you read the thread Diogenes, i sold for 150% gain into the large intraday rise ! | quotes_4_u |
