Not sure, but I would suspect they will be charging the majority of expenses to the capital account. Either 2/3rd or 75% is what I would expect.

No, I'm not complaining - I just wondered whether my interpretation was the right one!

They raised about £49m net so they are level at the moment. Give them a chance!

Daily NAV including income is consistently below NAV excluding income (48.92p, 49.12p respectively on 14/05).

I can only think the reason is that they are accruing charges and receiving no income. Allocation is 3:1 on capital : income.

So it looks like they struggled to get this away with Woodford Patient Capital at the same time. Looks like the only way they could get to £50m was by Miton Group taking £3.5m. Well I suppose it's good they support their own trusts to get them away. The trust will generate £0.5m of fees per annum. If they aborted it would have cost them £0.5m or so.

Yes, the small size is important: it's just impossible to stock-screen £200m worth of very small companies and get outperformance.
Up to 10% in unquoted companies, too.

If MINI gets 3% of any company, the company must issue an RNS even if MINI doesn't. I'll try to keep track of developments.

I bought in on this tiny compared to Woodford but a good stock picker in charge I hold Diverse which has done well. The smaller size £50m as opposed to £800m could work to his advantage

Opened at a small premium as expected. Will be very interested to see how this develops and what holdings they take.

have a look at software security such as
i think all the hardware has comparable security, additional software protection seems to do the trick.

Am buying a Xmas pressie for someone with a valuable clientbase that they like to keep confidential (No, its NOT Cynthia Payne!).

Which palmtop has the best security features to stop competitors etc. nicking their clientbase contact details if they nick their palmtop (they work in a very competitive sales environment where everyone is self-employed, and they do not even trust their "colleagues" with their client info)?

I don't think they need too much functionality or processing power - just the ability to find telephone numbers and basic data easily.

Is it possible/much hassle to encrypt the data on a palmtop?

Am also thinking of buying myself a pressie (or dropping the hint to someone else) - perhaps a palmtop computer with wireless access to check my shares when I'm out.

I would need some decent processing power to access charting sites etc. in an emergency, but preferably small enough to fit in my pocket.

Any geeks out there with suggestions?

Cheers

S
