Publication of Notice of Extraordinary General Meeting ("EGM")
Mitie Group plc (the "Company") is pleased to announce that, following the announcement on 3 May 2017, the Company has today published a Notice of EGM in connection with the proposed technical adjustment to the Company's articles of association, raising borrowing limits from 2x reserves to a fixed amount of GBP1.5bn.
Notice of an EGM of the Company is therefore given, with the EGM to be held at Evercore, 15 Stanhope Gate, London, W1K 1LN at 12 noon on 12 June 2017 for the purpose of considering, and if thought fit, approving the proposal described in the 3 May 2017 announcement. A copy of the Notice convening the EGM, which has been posted to shareholders today, is also available to view on the Company's website at www.mitie.com.
