smurfy2001: fireplace, indeed, that was my point (badly put though), i.e., offer price is looking likely not to be much higher. Held these since 15p and all i'm getting back is potentially 110p, less than the peak share price :-(
fireplace22: It's odd then that the company thinks the recent rise in share price is due to the TO approach and that the two events share price hike/approach were coincidental. I'd have thought that refinancing would be an integral part of any TO negotiations. Don't forget it was the banks refusing Limitless a waiver on part of their agreements with MNR that caused that TO to be aborted. tara7: Anfield961, As is the case with Minerva the market has saved them both. London office rents have turned up faster than 90% of the watchers prdicted' London prime has jumped 23% after Savillis CEO said they would fall 25%.!! Northacre and Minerva will in the next few months show the city what a bunch of fools they were selling your stock down to 7p and Northacres down to 18p. My case is, and has been that MNR will do very well but as we all know at todays price the upside for MNR from the Lancasters at todays selling prices is about 60p per MNR share. To that you can add the uplift from MNR"S other schemes, no idea how much, but if you get high rents , a great deal to go for, agreed. Northacre will in my view get £1.50 - £2.50 per 30p Northacre share. Lets just wait for the fun, any news on lettings should add 30p plus to your MNR share price.[And zero to the Northacre share price ,] so you will all like that.!!!!!!
tara7: Quays58 and other MNR shareholders should see an uplift in asset values at the end of this month when the accounting year ends. In my view it will be around two pounds with the resi and more so the city offices going higher. You guys in my view have 20-30p per MNR share to come from the Lancasters over the last 6 months [since the last valuation.] However Northacre has £41M of unbooked assets in MNR"S accounts, that in my view will have gone up to around £55M, over the last 6 months .[Selling prices at The Lancasters have gone from £2,000 to £2,600 in that time] Northacres nett asset per share from the Lancasters is now around £2.10p in my view, v a share price of just 30p. MNR nett asset price is around £2.00 per share V a share price of £ my view. Good luck to ALL shareholders in both MNR and NTA.
steve175: Not looking for a short term takeover as I feel this share has a huge longer term potential : Was looking back at the 2004/2005 press yesterday - When the MNR share price was £3.26 they were open to offers on the Company at £3.50 -- and the reason for the £3.50 share price was due to the fact they had a couple of large developments planned and ready for development ( walbrook and St Bot's) - but look at this now -- The developments are complete and there are others in the pipeline -- The one concern is how they fund themselves for 3 years until walbrook and st bots rental kicks in.
roughandtumbleone: I know I harped on about the compariables of QED and MNR share price yesterday and G3A did the chart overlay but guys I feel a little perspective is required. Take a look at the chart and the recent announced news and the trend line is most certainly north. So what there has been a retrace, many are in profit, so taking their dosh is never questionable. Do you think the guys who bought QED at 39p would have been happy to sell at 78p!? of course they would but do you also feel they'd be pig sick seeing the share price continue to rise and rise and rise and get to over £2.00 in just a few trading days!? Before I get jumped on, I am not suggesting that MNR will get to those levels seen by QED but I am convinced that MNR will continue the upward trend and make these prices look incredibly cheap.
