this situation almost reminds me of GKP late 2009.

'mates rates' fund-raising at 9p, just ahead of first results from Shaikan drill.........(sp was 14/15p at the time of fund-raise).

everyone went nuts at the fund-raise at the time.

a week later they announce exceptional first drill results - share price hits 30p within days, then onwards and upwards to 100p within a few months and 200p within a 15 months.

The placing was done as the board and there mates want to get plenty out of this as it has massive upsides.

Lack of shares out there at the end.

Maybe it is due to the fact two people in the know had been willing to take £350,000 between them in whats been a historical lightly traded stock at a 50% premium to last week with drilling results imminent?

Just a guess obviously?

Yes, understand that, but why the spike and 4p premium over placing. Quite an uplift in valuation

I have also been told two individuals took it, believe it was also done Monday morning.

Not offered to 'general' clients, insiders hence no forward selling till the drill results are out if they choose that is.

Placing was done last FRiday when hey were trading around 8p that's why
