09/12/2016 18:04 | Certainly a sudden uplift in volume over the last couple of days, maybe good Dalradian news driven, maybe speculation of an early related NSR deal, maybe just zinc price driven, who knows, would be good to get some news flow before the Christmas break. | lendmeafiver
09/12/2016 11:56 | SP heading in the right direction anyway, doesn't take much volume to move this | lendmeafiver
09/12/2016 05:30 | The next rns from buchans/lundberg, due this month, should give us an indication of its potential value. Dalradian news must be imminent also. | ardtole
08/12/2016 22:56 | My completely uneducated guess would be the battery market is currently small in tonnage terms compared to the steel related market but it's growing and when the battery car market really takes over then it could be very significant. I expect Woodstock remains a longer term play here. | lendmeafiver
08/12/2016 17:01 | PS: re the GMX /MN Houlton Woodstock deposit, it gets a brief mention in an interview by Ben Kramer-Miller with Jack Stoch the GMX CEO at 34:19 in [And you can hear all about GMX if you listen to the rest (about buying cheap royalties and hear his favourite three projects at the end too).] I wonder if Minco were approached by MN about getting the BMC Woodstock project instead, or if not, why not! Do we have any battery tech experts here, with an idea as to how much batteries might influence the global Manganese supply/demand equation? | djt59
08/12/2016 16:28 | Well someone spent over £6k in 10 minutes today just before midday, maybe Christmas bargain shopping on their lunch break. | lendmeafiver
08/12/2016 15:19 | You are absolutely right about Woodstock, it's value could well end up coming from vehicle battery demand rather than steel, it's already in Mincos 2014 presentation on the website where they state that: • Project has the ability to also produce Electolytic Manganese Dioxide and Chemical Manganese Dioxide for the electric / hybrid car battery market Minco do have a significant and relatively unique resource of Rhodochrosite which isn't appreciated in the share price, it wouldnt surprise me if it's the battery market that drives that project over the next year or so but in the meantime Dalradian and Canadian Zinc projects will keep the news flow active. | lendmeafiver
08/12/2016 10:14 | I assume that paves way for the completion of the feasibility before the end of the year. | lendmeafiver
08/12/2016 08:55 | Third Dalradian test stope recovers 35% more gold than predicted in resource model TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire Eric Tremblay, Chief Operating Officer of Dalradian commented, "I am particularly pleased with the results from the third stope. This demonstrates our ability to long-hole stope veins at the shallow end of the range that we are likely to encounter at this deposit. The dilution was lower than predicted by the model and resulted in a diluted grade of 9.41 g/t of gold. With the exception of a single wedge failure in the footwall at the end of mining, Stope 3 remained open without support for several weeks. This indicates that we can easily manage dilution from the footwall by using simple low cost methods such as cable bracing." | jdgeus75
07/12/2016 21:10 | Dalr feas due any day now | jdgeus75
06/12/2016 21:28 | DALR FS previously reported to be due before end of December. When it appears, it might give some clues as to the value we might realistically attach to our 2% NSR. In the meantime, any good news from MIO would be welcome in support of the lowly share price. Good luck all. | bodgit
30/11/2016 13:32 | Some serious volume at AYM also. | keya5000
30/11/2016 13:29 | Well someone has ploughed in for 750,000 shares today. | lendmeafiver
28/11/2016 18:38 | Agree, Mio is in a great place, no debt, right side of the commodities cycle, planning approval at Dalradian coupled with some progress in Canada due to the improving zinc price and this will be back up to the historic highs. No idea when but I'm happy to hold for another 12 to 18 months. | lendmeafiver
28/11/2016 18:30 | When you look at projects like this it does make you think AYM/MIO etc are crazy undervalued. | keya5000
28/11/2016 18:04 | Mio has a number of obvious links/similarities with CZN so you could argue mio should be doing the same, if these zinc rises continue it will happen here also for sure. | lendmeafiver
28/11/2016 17:47 | Zinc price still rising as were (indirectly linked) AYM and CZN share prices. Minco no change - do we have any zinc and lead worth resource of note or is it just that the market is ignoring it? Good luck all. | bodgit
28/11/2016 16:43 | Unless otherwise.....u dont believe so... | sm9
28/11/2016 16:41 | Yes good write up but why have the board not highlighted this or made more of it?.....surely you put up in bright lights your main assets?..... | sm9
28/11/2016 16:13 | Good write up, as a number of us here have been saying for months it's all about Dalradian for now, but with zinc rising we may get a nice surprise in a "jam tomorrow" project next year. | lendmeafiver
28/11/2016 13:56 | Minco write-up (pre-AGM) by a chat.ceo.ca contributor LucTenHave: Also on his own web-site: DNA royalty valued at U$24.5 = £19.9 based on NPV, but $15m by way of peer-comparison (vs £6.2m current). Other projects get a mention, nothing startlingly that my brief skim noted. "ReRateStocks.com would like to emphasize that the author is biased because the author owns shares of Minco PLC. This article was not solicited by Minco PLC and Minco PLC is also not a sponsor of this website. " | djt59
28/11/2016 11:25 | maybe their hands are tied, but there is no harm in expressing frustration at the lack of a plan b or other interested parties. my last comment on the matter you will be glad to hear. | ardtole
28/11/2016 10:56 | If this interested Chinese party decided not to continue with Woodstock for the time being, what can Minco do more than report that back to the shareholders. There is obviously nothing more to report on that than they already did. And like lendmeafiver says, you can always call the managemenet to clarify any of the other questions. | jdgeus75 |
