10/11/2016 07:59 | ardtole, Minco may well have nothing new to say about our 2% nsr. DALR FS expected in Q4 2016 and their planning application in Q1 2017. Looks like DALR is years away from production in any decent volume. That said, any decent good news from Minco will be welcome - and probably needed to sustain even the currently miserable share price. Good luck all. | bodgit
10/11/2016 05:31 | I think it is going to take a deal with dalradian to give the minco share price a drive upwards. As a poster suggested on here in the past few months, even a good feasability study report from dalr might not necessarily deliver the rise in our share price that you might expect. At least we will have a clearer picture in two weeks. | ardtole
09/11/2016 22:56 | Funny that Dalradian has not announced any news yet, would be great if an early minco NSR deal was on the cards, would be great if anyone in Dublin for the AGM could find out the views of management. | lendmeafiver
09/11/2016 21:10 | marthy, now that was a lot funnier than than the current Minco share price. Good luck all. | bodgit
09/11/2016 20:25 | HMMM I wonder ? Could we get Mr Trump to build a metal fence instead of a wall? To galvanize a wall that length would require a lot of Zinc and push prices up even more. Zn is now at $2490, Lead is $2150 and Copper over $5400. Two weeks Friday to AGM. | marthy
04/11/2016 16:24 | We are close to a major re-rating I'm sure, zinc market looking good, Dalradian newsflow about to commence, nice post JDG75. | lendmeafiver
04/11/2016 15:22 | The question is how long before the minco share price reflects our stake in dalradian. Further results are due from buchans/lundberg in december, it might give us an insight to what that project might be worth to us. The contribution from the lundberg pit is more than all the other contributing mines combined, which i thought was interesting. | ardtole
04/11/2016 14:23 | Market cap Minco @ 0.0135 = GBP 6.45 million (CAD 10.84 million) Market cap Dalradian @ 0.8675 = GBP 210.23 million (CAD 353.19 million) This means that Minco's market cap is 3% of Dalradian's market cap. If Dalradian produces 150.000 ounces @ $1250 gold = revenue of USD 187.5 million This results in a royalty cash flow of approx. USD 3.75 million Lets say Dalradian can make a $400 profit per ounce = USD 60 million (I doubt that) In this case Minco's cash flow is 6.25% of Dalradian's profit. One could argue that for this reason alone, Minco's royalty is currently worth 6.5% of Dalradian's market cap = GBP 13.66 million (or 0.0286 per share). This is for the royalty alone!! (not including the cash, not Xtierra, not the Newfoundland zinc projects, not the Manganese project, not the Ireland zinc projects). I do not expect that Dalradian's gross profit will be USD 60 million but lower. This would make Minco's royalty cash flow only larger in terms of percentage. | jdgeus75
04/11/2016 09:30 | Probably buyers behind the seen wanting lower price. It is strange as the news yesterday was all good. | djb3
04/11/2016 09:16 | There seems to be an interest in keeping the share price at 1.25. don't know why | jdgeus75
03/11/2016 12:20 | Things falling into place. AGM 3 weeks from tomorrow. I'm expecting a swarm of day traders to land any minute. | marthy
03/11/2016 11:19 | Definitly looks promising, prehaps further news from dalradian, moate and xtierra before the agm. | ardtole
03/11/2016 09:04 | Marvellous news.More progress. | apfindley
01/11/2016 17:50 | @sm9 I have an average of 0.61P. But that doesnt matter. I dont want to be rude but you already lost your money. If you really dont believe in this company (and management) it is really better to sell it and put your money in a "better company". I also have positions where I made losses. But if I am still convinced that they are undervalued (and even more so now), than I buy more. If the original reason you bought Minco is gone and you dont believe in it anymore, the worst thing you can do is keep your shares - period. That being said, I personally believe that Minco holds real value and real value will ultimately be rewarded by the market. | jdgeus75
01/11/2016 17:36 | Absolutely, current market cap £6m so Dalradian alone with cash in bank makes this worth double current share price without taking into account a single other asset. | lendmeafiver
01/11/2016 15:38 | the Dalradian royalty must be worth money Say 100k ounces@1300 an ounce = 130m @2% = 2.6m bid 10m,then spinoff the other assets | resourceful
01/11/2016 15:16 | Cant afford to take the loss if i could i would have...By the way how long have you been invested in minco and what was your entry price? | sm9
01/11/2016 14:25 | @sm9 I do see "how". And even have a good idea about the "when". Not to be funny - but if you really do not see how and when, I think it is better to sell - take your loss - and put your money to work in companies that are worth it (from your point of view). Waiting on something that you have no trust in is often a bad strategy. But like I said, I do not agree with you and have a pretty good idea about the "how" and "when" | jdgeus75
01/11/2016 13:47 | Its always jam tomorrow...been like this for many many years, hope it changes so i can get some money back, but i hate to admit it but just dont see how or when... | sm9
01/11/2016 13:33 | I can imagine that long term shareholders are frustrated. But there is enough information available (about the way Management runs the company) to make your decision to sell or buy shares. | jdgeus75
01/11/2016 13:31 | I agree that compensation is not high since last year. If you look at their proposed compensations plans in the 2016 AGM documents, it is again very reasonable. Only Warren MacLeod is well compensated | jdgeus75
01/11/2016 13:30 | Yes exactly EARNING zero... | sm9
01/11/2016 12:09 | I would hardly say management are getting paid big wages in Minco, most are earning zero! | lendmeafiver
01/11/2016 11:33 | I hope so, just seems to have gone very quite, i was hopeing to get around 2p by now, then im out! But i wont hold my breath as we have been let down by management for many years on false promises, like a deal with the chinese, but that seems a million miles away now, just hope we get some action with daldrian sooner rarther than having to wait again for many years...but like i said management are still getting paid big wages so why should they ruin it for themselves just keep promising next year...lol | sm9
31/10/2016 16:55 | Certainly more to talk about this year, Dalradian - what to do with the NSR, when etc, moate results, Canadian zinc progress and plans given rising zinc prices, Mexican silver sale/strategic process, hence why in Dublin this year, going to be a good finish to the year here I expect. | lendmeafiver |
