10/7/2002 16:33 | Not quite the hot buy every one thought huh? I don't have anything in Millers (fortunately). I only looked at their details after they went into liquidation, but had I been here earlier I could have told you that they were losing customers faster than the Enron ship went down. Millers had some good staff, but unfortuantely the people in the serious positions didn't have a clue. Hindsight is always 20:20 isn't it? | timfoster_bourne
09/7/2002 20:47 | Its all over MFG exists no longer........... they pulled the plug! | eight of twelve
06/7/2002 12:55 | bought 500k shares at around 3p over last six months and sold 450k two weeks ago at 4.25p, feeling very lucky, perhaps a sign that the economy is turning up that banks pull the rug in the expectation of reclaiming THEIR investment regardless of others - which as i understand has been an observation at this stage of previous cycles imo great care should be taken in investing in such situations at present where going concern is reliant on bank financing, | velvetide
05/7/2002 14:17 | Gone bust...bit embarrassing for Michael Walters. | argy2

04/7/2002 23:16 | The trouble with Miller Fisher, is that they had too many chiefs and not enough indians, and STILL they advertised for more chiefs!! You would think they would of learned their lesson... On the other hand, putting someone in charge who has no idea about the adjusting business was pure stupidity. | eight of twelve
04/7/2002 22:13 | it is the end for shareholders...glad I wasn't tempted to buy now! | simonevans
04/7/2002 09:30 | highly unexpected, the board didn't even see that one coming, otherwise why advertise heavily in the insurance press for Senior Staff. Commiserations to all shareholders, but I really don't think this is the end. They will be back, they have just started getting their act together again. | recruiter
04/7/2002 07:44 | mfg suspended | eugene1234 |
