07/4/2000 14:13 | ADVFN NewsWire (14:07) - Millennium & Copthorne Hotels (EPIC: MLC) announced that Robert Morse has been appointed Executive Director and President Millennium & Copthorne Hotels North America with effect from 24 April 2000. He will join the Board with effect from 2 May 2000. Mr Morse, (44) joins the Group from Meristar Hotels & Resorts Inc. where he was Executive Vice President of Operations. Prior to that he held a number of executive positions before joining the Sheraton Corporation in 1995 where he was Senior Vice President and Director of Operations for the North American division before being appointed President of both the Franchise Division and Four Points Hotels by Sheraton in 1997. Commenting on the appointment, John Wilson, Chief Executive of M&C said: "We are delighted to welcome Robert to the Group.
