So with interim dividend and they have said a special dividend of $1.68 coming. At this price Micro turning into a income stock, lol.Figures next month.

Oversold, I suppose we will get $1.68 special dividend works out roughly £1.30 for us. Under 2000p great buy.

My last work-up of valuation gave me £22 to £24 at a P/E of 15 for 2017 pre HP.
Anything below £20 and I will be a buyer.
(Although this is 10% of my portfolio which is usually my limit)
Half year results last year were 10 December

Seems with flat to -2% coming, Micro Focus needs this deal next year.

Nothing to write home about, they did say themselves revenue flat to -2%. The deal seems a long way off 3rd quarter 2017.

Your view, do you think Micro Focus would have done this deal, if they thought that any chance of Trump winning? Just a thought, only because of the uncertainty how things will pan out in the US.

As long as we hold 2000p support level we will be ok.Had a great run last 12 months can't complain. Pound may get stronger now Trump is in. Just reduces the divi payout a bit.

Holding well boys, 2000p is the major support level.

So the little twerp thinks that he has all the bases covered: price goes up and can tell us he had spotted a ¨major support level¨, the company is a cash cow and it is set for a rise to 7500p. Price goes down and he will tell us he always said it was overpriced, has no revenue growth and has bet the ranch on its latest acquisition.
