If you are sitting on a bus and your neighbour behaves irritatingly and anti-socially do you say something or change seats?

They can't advance much more with no revenue growth, deal not until 3rd Quarter 2017.

Crikey Orange, give the guy a break, he's entitled to his opinion and its an open forum after all. If you don't like his posts just ignore or block.

I like all the posts good and bad - sadly mine are usually bad but I like to read others posts as I am hopeless are researching. If someone posts somit controversial I can then google and usually get some good links so even the bad posts are often a help.

So bilge watchers, this is how it goes. The MCRO shareprice is shooting up. Montybilge will wait for them to go up some more, then buy, then go into full bilge ramping mode: cash cow, special dividend, FTSE 100, trackers have to buy. Not long later the price will turn down again, bilge will sell at a loss and start dissing the company. Mark my words.

SogositMicro at the moment priced for perfection. To higher a p.e for flat to -2% revenue. They need this deal but it third quarter 2017. Just can't see shareprice going anywhere, at the moment.

I think it is "bad" companies that get sold, monty.
"Good" companies don't, usually.
As with any "value" proposition it's all a matter of perception!

Even a good company bought at the wrong price is a bad investment. To high shareprice in my opinion.

That's what makes a market you think they will go up, I think they will go down.

I think a "drift", or pull-back, below about 2000p, would only happen on a general market sell-off or lack of confidence that the HPE deal will get done. In that sense the "fundamental case", that one believes management can extract higher margins from HP's legacy businesses, will happen.
As an investor you either believe that case or you don't. You either hold/accumulate or you stop owning this because you think "it's a deal too far"... i.e. You've lost confidence in management. You then have to ask yourself why you lost that confidence & why you continue to hold such a share.
I accumulated recently in the high 2100's.

There has been a seller around 2165 to 2100 for a few days. Hopefully it will break the pattern soon.

THey did drift up - from 1800 to 2000 - on July's news that revenue would be flat to minus 2%. Why post if you have nothing to add? Take your narcissism and solipsistic approach somewhere else please

SogositI love Micro, but deal quite a long way off, I just think in the meantime the shareprice, will drift and shareprices do not normally drift up.They said themselves flat to -2% revenue. Let's see what happens.

Yes, they aleady said revenue flat to -2% back in July at which point you were telling us that the share price was about to go to £ 25 or to £ 75 or to any other number you could think of.

So, montybilge, you are nothing but a knotty-pated fool devoid of any credibility and with no insight to offer of any kind.

In my opinion these are going below 2000p. Deal not completed until 3rd quarter 2017. Anything can happen in the meantime. They already said revenue flat to -2%.

Trump the successful businessman, capitalist and marketer is that? When that happened in 2003 in Thailand their stockmarket doubled in a year. Happy to stay in MCRO myself, has been less soft since the AGM, relative to the general market.

I think HP getting a great deal, I hope Micro is, seeing his bet the farm on this merger, can't be be bid when HP will own over 50%.

$2.5 billion cash as part of deal, where is that coming from?

-2% revenue trend is the entire business model, revenue goes up in a giant step function by acquisition, margins and profits should improve continually by the good management in both cases.
