31/8/2016 12:38 | Barclays BUY is 2150p. Yesterday even not so bullish Cannarcord raise from £17 to £20. | montyhedge
31/8/2016 12:35 | I'm just wondering if investors think it's only Polymetal who have got in and not us and them not knowing we will replace Arm. Seems strange massive fall for really no reason. Ok in theory drop 37p tomorrow, but in the pass never fallen the fall amount.See what happens. | montyhedge
31/8/2016 11:45 | Having secured their place in the FTSE100, look what's happened to POLY today. And look what's happened to BKG. Be careful what you wish for! | typo56
31/8/2016 10:15 | Monty.your post 2705....Because it will probably go down more than the divi. Usually happens and can be picked up cheaper afterwards though there can be exceptions. Hopefully the share price will recover after the Divi. | ringer12
31/8/2016 10:08 | TypoWe are still in the lead, what's your thoughts must be in surely. | montyhedge
31/8/2016 10:04 | Strange to me why sell today and miss out on a 37.4p ex div tomorrow. | montyhedge
31/8/2016 09:39 | Surprised they lower go ex div tomorrow 37.4p. | montyhedge
31/8/2016 08:02 | Looks like us £100m ahead in market cap to beat SKG to the FTSE 100. | montyhedge
30/8/2016 21:06 | Seen the Telegraph they said they meet tomorrow and decide on closing prices 30th August. | montyhedge
30/8/2016 20:06 | I'm not sure ARM would like to be called a software company! | typo56
30/8/2016 18:24 | That's only right a software company to replace a software company, lol. | montyhedge
30/8/2016 18:22 | 60p rise needed for SKG to pip us, let's hope we are up tomorrow to really seal the deal. | montyhedge
30/8/2016 18:19 | Ok we are in the lead by £100m. I would say 90% we get in. | montyhedge
30/8/2016 17:53 | No. Too late for guaranteed entry. The FTSE Review is based on market caps at close today. The September Review and the ARM departure are two different processes. The ARM decision will I believe be based on market caps tomorrow. Perhaps this helps. Note that MCRO are currently top of the reserve list. | typo56
30/8/2016 17:46 | TypoWorked it out, Skg would have to go up 60p tomorrow and Micro would have to fall. We could still overtake Polymetal if we went up tomorrow for guaranteed entry. | montyhedge
30/8/2016 17:40 | TypoSky news saying Berkeley out, Polymetal in. What about us? surely we replace Arm. | montyhedge
30/8/2016 17:28 | Yes. Champagne on ice. | montyhedge
30/8/2016 17:08 | Today's close for the FTSE September Review, of that I'm sure. So MCRO will certainly make the reserve list. I think the ARM replacement decision will be based on what is top of the reserve list at close tomorrow. Is that how you read it? | typo56
30/8/2016 16:43 | Typo We are £100m ahead. Is it todays close or tomorrow close? | montyhedge
30/8/2016 16:40 | Market cap close tonight £4,662 billion. Is that enough. | montyhedge
30/8/2016 16:39 | It looks like it's between MCRO and SKG to replace ARM next Monday, with MCRO leading at the moment. | typo56
30/8/2016 15:45 | Thanks, looking good with the yanks rotating into banks and techs for the 3rd quarter, I suppose with weak pound these are good value for them. | montyhedge
30/8/2016 15:41 | I assume by 'weighting' your broker means free float investability weightings. These weightings are used in calculating the index value. They have no bearing on index ranking. If they did a company like FRES, with a weighting of only 23%, wouldn't make it into the FTSE 100. If you're really keen to know more, read this: Note: "all companies with eligible securities will be ranked by their full market capitalisation i.e. before the application of any investability weightings" | typo56
30/8/2016 15:33 | Asked my broker also to do with weighting, seeing Sage the only other one software company, in theory they should really buy Micro Focus now Arm delisted. Lol but of course not in yet. | montyhedge |
