The results are in! And a very successful year we had too

Of the seven tips to half, four actually did so and only two made money. The average loss was 25.6%.

The winner is: PJ 1 with CTAG. Just ahead of my tip, KOOV, based on its price when delisting last March.

I will go for Paul Johnson MTR as he had reverse 100 bagger with ECR so just a reverse bag of halving is easy for him given his incompetence

Love this thread. INSP for me, Should never have been listed. No product, just a load of hot air about best in class, gamechanger,disruptive technology. Placing upon placing, waffle followed by many months of silence. Company strategy is to keep the plates spinning. More fundraising (dilution) to come in 2017. Completely uninvestible and almost certain to be bust by next xmas!

Sports Direct, SPD for me please. Share price has been on a downward spiral for some time now and I can't really see any immediate reason for that trend to change. Whether or not the share price will actually half in 2017 is questionable.:-)

MPL is my choice...no port yet!...a double edge sword..

SAL is another speculative choice...

Sorry but CTAG is my choice.
Secretive BoD with no apparent business plan or proven product, Very complicated funding in desperation. Seems only buyers are PI's. Also on TW fail list. NOMAD has to watch carefully as Co keeps having to re-issue correcting RNS's.

My pick is (Koovs) KOOV.

This is a fashion business focussed on the Indian e-commerce market. Although it is fast-growing (+114% from 2016 H1 to 2017 H1), it is achieving this growth on a negative gross margin of over 20%. That means that KOOV is spending 20% more on making, marketing and distributing its clothes than it gets back from selling them. This is, by far, the worst business model that I have ever seen.

Adding to the bear case here is the fact that the main KOOV thread on ADVFN is extremely active, attracts a very poor calibre of poster and negative views are actively and arbitrarily censored.



The bear thread presents an uncensored alternative.

Taking inspiration from the "shares to double" thread, here's one to nominate your shares to half in 2017.

PLEASE provide some detail as to why the stock is likely to half, reasoning etc. You don't have to post a lot, just enough to give the reader a reason to take a deeper look with a few sentences at least. Do that and you might interest more investors to a stock that's overvalued.

Picks from any sector, including oilers and miners are welcome.
