Time I chnged timeframe to 3 years on that topmost chart. (done now. doesn't make it look any better)

The fact that the announcement has been made means that the fund raising has already been done. I'd look at what the new management are putting in. £120,000 is no pocket change.

With new technologies, things are often slower than expected and cash requirements tend to be higher. It's an old venture capital adage that it is often the 3rd man in who makes the real money and I think this may be the case here.

So maybe it's time to double (or treble/quadruple etc!) up and ride the wave of news up to 20p!!!

Well my plan is to put more money into LGB, saving my trading limit for that. SInce as soon as I buy and sell, they do not let me have it back for another trade. Well sometimes they let me go over, but not all the time. LGB next week are a no brainer, free 20p per share at least from now.

Wiganer - From the balance sheet cf. losses, they look close to it and I'm very surprised not to see an auditor's comment but I've only quickly scanread the results, so there may be some answers to your question in the detail.

Perhaps, the plan to flog the Newton site is expected to provide enough capital to see them through......

Well the financials and the past year highlights are rubbish but the statement is very encouraging. They have a lot of expertise in the area of their research and seem to be involved in lots of areas, all of which sound promising. The Skyepharma loss is really disappointing however, and I am surprised they didn't need to update the market on this earlier considering it was their most important area of research.

Its not worth it for me to sell anymore although I don't think anyone will buy until they start getting more encouraging financials either.

Following the sale by our licensee, SkyePharma plc, of their interests in
Dermatological pharmaceuticals, the field in which the Micap Technology has had
most success, Skyepharma, has been investigating other opportunities to use the
Micap Technology in oral applications. However, it has become clear that for
those drugs currently under development, there were limited applications and
thus, Micap has agreed that SkyePharma will surrender all rights under the
license agreement back to Micap, and in return the Company will accept a payment
of #250,000 in settlement of the original licence payment of #500,000. Full
provision for this has been made in the 2005 accounts.

Whilst we are obviously disappointed that strategic decisions within SkyePharma
have led to this situation, we are now in a position to approach prospective
partners with strengths in the Topical field to instigate discussions regarding
future partnerships. Particularly of interest in our Topical activities have
been the results of in-vitro studies carried out into antifungal activity,
whereby bioavailability of a topical drug such as econazole nitrate is improved
considerably upon encapsulation. The efficacy of the drug is enhanced in terms
of both active required and speed of action.

Last year prelims were announced on 8th June. Now seriously overdue unless there has been a change tothe accounting period. I have been unable to find any such change mentioned only a profit warning for the year ended 30/3/05.

Last news letter on web site dated May 05 - Which is possibly even more worrying - what is happening - have they cut the PR budget? Or is this lack of news symptomatic of something else?

Any further views?
