Should not eb long before the review and if there is more bad news the share price could be on its way to below £1..

Metnor Group plc

Management Resignation

Metnor Group plc ("Metnor" or "the Group"), the property development and
construction company, announces the resignation of John Parkinson, Main board
Director and Managing Director of Metnor Property Group, with immediate effect.

Mr Parkinson, (54), has tendered his resignation in order to pursue other
interests, having been employed by the Company since 2004. Stephen Rankin, CEO,
will assume Mr Parkinson's current Property Group responsibilities.

In November, Metnor released a trading update stating property transactions
expected to complete within the Property division would be delayed due to
turbulence in the commercial property sector.

The Group has subsequently undertaken a review of the portfolio within the
Property division which is expected to be completed by the end of January 2008,
at which time a further update will be given.

In the meantime, the Group's construction and mechanical and electrical services
divisions continue to perform strongly.

Looking very bleak indeed here. The prospective eps on downgraded earnings is too high.

Bovis came out with another cautious statement today. This could be a very good short.

Sell.

I think next week there will be more downside. This was written on the wall for a bit. Im surprised holders staying put for as long as they did on a premium rating to building stocks.

Not quite so easy on a tightly held illiquid share. You never know who's on the other side waiting to come in.

Well said pictureframe. Lotrs of building stocks on a pe of nearer 5. The prospective pe is 9 but thats before a downgrade.

Expect a big collapse from here.

Wow big drop - in fact it did drop to 270 intraday but then found support and closed at 300

odd share this! the company seems ot be doing well and to have good management. i suppose that there are jitters about the commercial property market at the minute, but on such a low p/e i would think that it must be a bargain.

i am not yet a holder but will seriously consider it if it drops further

i wonder if it will get support at 300? if not then it could drop to 250.
