Thats all very well but major issues have been apparent for months if not years.
Its not as though the company has suddenly hit problems. I don't think this outfit has the backbone to see through the hard decisions that are necessary.
Im not sure what communication with investors can be undertaken at present-the company must be in a close period ahead of the next results.

I emailed Caroline Green on Wednesday making that very point to her. Every spare moment that she has should be devoted to fixing MRX, arresting the decline in the shareprice and communicating with investors.

If I get a reply I'll post it on here.

Next stop is Andrew Walker.

its a bit like sleepwalking towards the cliff edge. Why is she doing this when her own company is tanking. Maybe she feels she will get another job by networking at this event.
This company needs a major sort out -it has been going nowhere for two years or more.
What on earth is the Chairman doing-you need to step up to the plate here.

the only news I found is that Caroline Green will be part of the panel that will advise the UK's Government business bank, which was set up to boost lending to small firms

its better if she devotes her time to get this business sorted!.....unless she is already at door herself, leaving us investors to switch off the lights

pvb: Purely opinion. I do not know the management or anyone in the businesses. They may drink nothing but bottled water and tea.
However I've done some homework and my view is that this is a difficult situation and management failings are to the fore behind what has gone wrong.
A line needs to be drawn in the sand with suitable provisioning so we can get back on track.
What does a share price decline from 12p to 3p suggest to you??

Can't see its relevant -but yes is the answer.

Unfortunately 'yes' cannot be the answer! Possibly my question was badly formed. What I was getting at was: was your opinion based on personal experience of MRX corporate HQ, or at one of their individual businesses?

Can't see its relevant -but yes is the answer. Are you claiming mgt is doing a great job in difficult conditions. The share price graph above would suggest this company has been going backwards for the best part of two years.normal company turnaround programmes take 18 months between implementation and tangible evidence of financial benefits. My gripe here is that it appears that it has been head in the sand job -lets hope business conditions improve. Oh we've lost a big bakery contract -what do we do now. I read through the company website this morning-you would think there was not a cloud in the sky. What is the point at which the Chairman will decide the ceo is not up to the job of sorting this out -when the share price gets to 2p or 1p??

actually share price is nearly at 3p. Management will be in the pub getting lashed ahead of leaving at 3-30pm. friday is a half day for the top brass-so its nearly the weekend at Metalrax.
I think Anderson should take over here -he may be 84 but he's got to be alot sharper than the incumbents.
