Every Paul Johnson project imo is positioned "as good as it gets" and/or "best in class". Rhetoric that's been repeated again and again.

ECR Copper flats is probably my favourite example.

MTR has been through a difficult few months: now more likely than not the Bots' JV will be sold at a decent profit. No rush and remember the find there is "as good as it gets" per Board geologist. Now for a sleep

Should go below 1p, it's a bit like a death spiral now because the lower it goes the more out of the money the warrants are so the bucket shop investors will just dump the equity at any price

Meanwhile it rules out possibility of financing at higher levels and makes another dilutive discounted placing likely

People waking up to fact Paul Johnson is a pump and dump merchant with no real clue on how to bring projects to fruition.

Add in Trump inauguration jitters in January it's looking like a tough month ahead for MTR mug punters

Julian Hanna, a Director of MOD has the following Bio:

"Mr Hanna was the Managing Director of Western Areas NL for 12 years before stepping down from that position in January 2012. He was a co-founder of Western Areas and led the company during its transformation from a $6 million junior explorer to become AustraliaâS64;™s third largest nickel mining company capitalised at more than $800 million."

That looks great - 13333% growth in market cap! No arguing with that!

Look at what the share price did - in 2003, Oct 17 the shareprice (ASX:WSA)was $ 1.95, today it is $ 2.96 - only 51% growth in 15+ years. Not much better than having money in a deposit account, let alone an index tracker fund.

This is what the PI's of MTR need to understand. A large mine needs lots of capital, and therefore is constantly issuing shares in order to have the right equity/debt mix. So even if Botswana was to be the find of the century, you cannot divide the potential value of the copper in the ground with the existing shareholding to arrive at a potential share value.

So, even if MOD sells out the project to someone who can develop it, we are only talking about something in the tens of millions, not hundreds.

Don't even start feeding me the BS about NPV's.....

One of two scenarios now...it bounces back to 2p or completes a full retrace to below 1p...as the chart has been telling us for months

They're not gonna sell their 30% interest in bots. They've only just explored a fraction of the licence area, with two much bigger anomalies either side of t3 yet to be explored. They might sell their interest in t3possibly, but given the proximity of the other areas to t3, I'd be surprised if they sold even that.
More likely there will be more fundraising for bots drilling expansion, and the remaining work to get get to a position where they could go into production for t3, and then perhaps consider selling.
Think it may be more likely they Might sell Spain interests before Botswana.
I dont think people realise just how big TG is thinking ref bots as a whole, and how to extract the maximum value from it.

The more likely scenario will be to sell the Botswana JV as soon as a profitable stage in the development has been reached: no mining whatsoever is envisaged. Also, the junior gold investments may well be going strong by then.... No ramp or de-ramp

No, they will make a decision to start to mine in early 2018. This means, that by then, they should have enough information to decide to go ahead and start the process of developing the mine.

Actual mining itself, is 2-3 years MINIMUM from then!

Before then, more dilution as capital will need to be raised and 25-30% of it needs to be equity.
