MOD suspended till Monday presumably their funding being sorted.

Many negative posts here: quite understandable when glancing at the share price chart. 18 months back I agreed with the BOD that mini gold stocks would be racing ahead by now. However, that has not been the case but could well still happen bearing mind so many are expecting America's DOW to rise and rise, until.....

The Chairman of MTR has a train-load of stock. Not in an RNS, but he was heard in a conversation that Botswana "is as good as it gets" no less and the man kept on buying stock. He is a clever world-class geologist who isn't the type to be a CEO. PJ has immense spirit but sure ran out of gas when gold and those little investments didn't perform. He has had a rest and is now back on the Board.

Gervais H' did an interview earlier this year when he considered the JV's would bring a conservative 5p "maybe a lot more" and he was talking in terms of Bots'. Now with the recent dilution of a couple of days' ago, I know, but within the changed investment climate there is a good possibility of a very decent return here even if a JV is exited before maturity. Doubt if many on this bb are fully-fledged geologists. Prepared to be shot down ~ go ahead.

Spot-on Stig. You have the exact measure of the man. All 3 of MTR's main projects are sub-economic and Thailand will simply be scuppered by the generals and the "Greenies". The share MTR price is simply an extension of Paul Johnson's ego - it goes up, it goes down, but ultimately, it will fade away to nothing.

must be incredible to go into a business meeting with a pump and dump merchant, how does any serious businessman take him seriously ?

so what's your experience running a mining company? well I used to ramp rubbish on bulletin boards and then mug off mug punters by dumping stock myself

One wonders why they didn't do the placing when the shares were 2.3p 3 weeks ago - still I'm sure Mr Borell's bid had nothing to do with it at all !!

This Company, and its Management, stink. I would not be a buyer again until the whole BOD has been changed.

Never ceases to amaze me how private investors only see the good in a fund raisingMTR was above 3p from April to OctoberAbove 2p from October to December Then they try and kill the price with a ludicrous offer for the company followed by a large fund raising at the lowest price the shares have been for most of the yearOh and shares in issue have nearly doubled since JanuaryAnd MOD need millions upon millions of pounds (in the rns)Yet still it must be good news?????Meanwhile those participating have no doubt shorted the shares for how ever long they have known this was coming and made money off the back of it while the private holders have seen the price drop drop drop
