If you see the list of major shareholders... and from contacting individuals there will be nothing left due to that very point you make Loverat.

I'm only in two minds as to whether to pay the money and support the winding up petition on 13th April. My loss on this has been relatively large as far as investments go. No Mike I wont be making my loss up elsewhere after this.

It comes back to whether they'res anything left which the Creditors will of course get first. Think it's a given now. TR

I think the Financial Services Compensation Scheme are taking on referrals for the bondholders now.

No surprise here - there was never anything going to be salvaged from this. The fact that the directors were so evasive and unresponsive is typical of their MO in companies that they have presided over before.

A valuable lesson never to trust these directors ever again.

I can understand why Reyker may have issues with certain folk, who it would appear have been hoisted by their own petard and not before time. They may yet have further issues to contend and rightly so IMO.

For those left holding and especially TR, well I am sorry for your losses and hope that you get to make them up elsewhere.

Well I'm surprised by that, but if thats what you say then fair dos. Reyker must really want their £50k and this lot put down.

Wonder what will happen to all the bond clients now? MHG had a 30% ish share in each of the bond PLCs - .Merchant Corporate Recovery, Merchant Turnaround, Merchant Strategic Renewal.

They will lose more collectively their than shareholders here if they go pop too.

Have it on v.good authority, that's it. Creditors first etc..
MHG to be dissolved as a company. A very big loss but hey and that's it from me afraid I made a huge mistake listening to others back in the day and then not getting out and believing things would turn round.

With the debt they had there's definitely nothing left even if you fancied jumping in with Reyker on the Wind Up.

Cest la Vie.

Still can't see Whyte giving up £1m+ in MHG shares, will be interesting to see what happens with the parent company which it appears they are trying to keep at arms length from the MC and MHFS break ups.

Yep just been looking and made some calls.... all jobs saved.. passed over to them.... that will be it for the group now no other business..

Not having calls returned now from other sources... looks like it's supporting the wind up petition then.

I see Tenent has taken over Merchant Houses advisors. Has anybody any info on the deal?

Perhaps they should track him down via the family business, harder to hide there.

everyone knew it was coming, just the pricing was ridiculous. the bod could have let it run much longer and got a better price.

they'll have to try and get another one away in a couple of months..

That MTV share issue was so predictable. Mind you - I made a few bob the other day when it tripled.

I did try and warn folk off at MTV but to no avail, seems like some wanted to learn the hard way, which is a shame.

Makes you wonder how many billions shares would be in issue if MHG was still listed.

Check out MTV, just hit 10bn shares.

Shocking whats gone on there in the last week. Just look at that chart and RNS timeline. Like a clone of MHG.

Two examples showing the damaging effect on share price of compounded dilution mixed with shareholder dismay.
