26/10/2016 13:49 | This morning's 'Breakfast Club' met at a cafe in 'Dobb's Weir'. The cafe was modern, with a decent riverside car park and was clean and cheap. There were 7 staff, all eastern European, serving about 8 kinds of breakfast and a large menu of 'burger-type' food. All in all, a decent mornings work. | prambigear
26/10/2016 13:45 | Good morning Golly Blackwell | prambigear

26/10/2016 12:15 | I have 1,000 Lloyds bought at £5! Fortunately I have rather more than that bought at 29p. It's proving a longer slog than I expected. | grahamite2

26/10/2016 12:05 | RANT OF THE DAY oN LLOYDS grahamite2 26 Oct '16 - 11:10 - 187706 of 187714 0 0 "PPI will be over in 2019" - I'll believe this monstrous fraud on British banks is over when I see it. Have there not already been several earlier cutoff points suggested? How the hell can there still be £1bn of claims out there? Rant over. Please carry on. | bargainbob
26/10/2016 11:47 | Good morning, grahamite2. Are you managing to get around? | avatar333
26/10/2016 11:42 | Good morning, grahamite2. Excellent news. | golly blackwell
26/10/2016 11:40 | I expect to be given a carton of Lucky Strike soon, which will be nice. Apparently it is not even marketed in the US any more but is entirely British, which is a bit rum. | grahamite2
26/10/2016 11:18 | I'm more interested to see if one of these features today. | golly blackwell
26/10/2016 11:17 | #86454 re #86452 It wasnt just the 'big' clubs at it though, the likes of Bristol City made something like 9 changes. Quite simply, why bother? They cant even get a sponsor for it. | golly blackwell
26/10/2016 11:16 | 86452 I'm used to it now, Golly. It'll be interesting see the team selections for the Manchester derby tonight. | avatar333
26/10/2016 11:14 | 86451 Grrrrrrrr! | avatar333
26/10/2016 11:03 | The same avatar was probably as equally disappointed in the quality of the teams that were put out in last night League cup ties. Why not just knock it on the head if no one is interested in winning it, either that or just take the top 4 of the Premier League on 1st February and 'say' that they are the Semi-finalist and take it from there? If I am correct, I think there were 92 changes from the 110 players who started over the weekend. What a farce. | golly blackwell |
