good luck watwungyi - I think I may be greedy and wait for a sub-280 price.

Big orders received by Rolls Royce recently will filter through to equipment suppliers. Meggitt already involved in engine monitoring for A380 and Boeing 787. Not sure about its involvement on A350 engines but hopefully it will get something out of the big Qatar order? Any technical people on here who can advise?

I bought this share at 291, after new shares are issued. So I expect it would go below 300 or more if market don't recover by autum. But this is such a quality stock. So any weakness is an opportunity.

Agree, these are cheap - potential investors can safely wait for < 300p here though, as it stands.

I have posted somewhere that current equity prices are not worth what they are 'on valuation ground'. They are trading up to 30% premium to their true worth. And that 30% is what I called 'liquidity premium', low interest rate means cheap money and demand for equities are soaring and hence such high price. Now this liquidity is slowly taking away by central banks. Look everwhere UK, Eurozon, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, China and now America. Signs of rising interest rates are getting clearer. No wonder Morgan Stanley advised its clients sell equities. But I believe fundamentals for investment is still strong as more and more western companies are trying to get richer Asian consumers in their portfolio. So long term fundamentals (I mean 10- 15 or even 20 years) are still strong. And get your cash ready for rare opportunity. Spectacles are on their way.

You hum it son - I'll play it.

I wrote those words in reply to a similar comment, on another thread.

I am watching these shares, after good words about the company by the great watwungyi. If he is around, best regards from JohnE.
