22/2/2017 12:45 | 'Simon Evans goes to market' on Radio4 today was about gold. Here is the link Obviously a bit facetious but includes commentary from Dom Frisby and Meryl Somerset Webb. | chipperfrd
22/2/2017 12:37 | Hi Dek, Check out SULA Speculative froth in the price at the moment no doubt. However drilling is about to commence i believe. If the results are as good as people are hoping for then there does seem good upside potential. Do your own research etc | atlantic57

21/2/2017 15:38 | Could'nt put it better guys, I read that article from ZH, he talked the feds book back in the day, to allow the printing to go bananas, these people make me sick, PARASITES on the body of Humanity, not enough lamp posts being utilised imo. | deka1
21/2/2017 15:22 | Chip I read a summary of the Greenspan article above on Zerohedge. It's a bit difficult to square the circle of his behaviours and opinions pre FED / FED / Post FED. It looks as if since standing down he increasingly realises what the disastrous consequences of the actions that he originally initiated are likely to have and is trying to now place himself on the other side of the argument. I still don't see him accepting ownership as being one of the key players responsible for where the FED policies are now leading us. RT | roguetreader
21/2/2017 14:47 | Greenspan continues to 'change his tune' regarding gold and monetary policy! | chipperfrd
15/2/2017 07:52 | deka1 I'm not familiar with the details of politics in the Philippines but I suspect that Duterte was far enough ahead in the election to be able to lose a few hundred thousand votes from his almost 7 million lead. However there is clearly opposition within parts of both the government and country that may serve to amend or delay the DENR actions. It will be interesting to see how the recently announced "multi-stakeholder review" proceeds. | cp42kx07
14/2/2017 12:52 | CP42, I SEE its possible to appeal , but only to the office of the president LOL. Lets see if we can work something out . | deka1
14/2/2017 11:43 | This guy Duterte, is a bigger hazard than rust to the mining industry, perhaps a few hundred thousand workers paid off will see him out on his ear next time round. | deka1
14/2/2017 08:30 | It's always a relief to see that Medusa isn't in the latest DENR list (watershed MPSA cancellations): | cp42kx07

13/2/2017 20:23 | Interview with Gina Lopez on mining in the Philippines. As MML have passed the audit there is no impact here, but still worth look IMO. RT | roguetreader
13/2/2017 15:56 | Yes atlan, the piper has his hand out,and the cost of the EU experiment will turn out to be very high for the people of Europe, the end of mass immigration is at hand. OH--- gold getting smacked again I see. | deka1
12/2/2017 21:41 | Human Beings behave in a cyclical fashion every 70 or 80 years history tends to repeat itself.2008 was a mirror image of 1929 the politicians succeeded in kicking the can down the road but now it's very much back to the 1930'S. | atlantic57
12/2/2017 21:04 | This time around the attacks over the past few years have to be taken into account, and how far and how many people have been pushed to the far right , I think enough for Le Penn to clinch it. Anyway the Dutch are having their elections first I think,so they could be a pointer. | deka1
12/2/2017 18:53 | Le Penn will probably win the first round but usually the left and right get together in the final run-off to push the FN out. Although the credible right wing contender, Fillon, is facing legal charges after paying his wife 500,000 Euros of public money for doing nothing and the left-wing contenders look a bit lightweight. | andrewsr
10/2/2017 12:46 | Hi Atlan, thanks for your take, Le Penn is ahead in the French polls if she makes it , its the end of the Euro project, | deka1
10/2/2017 08:14 | Dek my own opinion for me is simple. In 2008 onwards the consensus opinion was that the huge printing that went on would Create an inflationary surge which would push gold to new highs. This thesis proved to be completely wrong.9 years on we are still very much in a deflationiary cycle. For gold really to take off we need buyers of gold who don't know normally buy gold. This would happen in circumstances where the mass of population loose confidence in Governments and currencies. We are not there yet, therefore golds moves are minor be they up or down. 2017 will be a very big year as if le Pen wins in France the eurozone would impload rapidly. However without a loss of confidence in government I can't see gold taking off so the Eurozone General elections and their results are critical. | atlantic57
09/2/2017 09:11 | Cheers Jim. Great presentation by Grant. | chipperfrd
08/2/2017 20:31 | No problem guys. Major implications for gold and the dollar | jimbowen30 |
