Medicsight Eyes Major Deals After FDA Clearance

LONDON (Dow Jones)--Medical software firm Medicsight PLC (MDST.LN) is in partnership talks with a number of major equipment manufacturers for its flagship product, and is hopeful of signing deals now that it has secured marketing approval from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, the firm's finance director said Thursday.

As Crosswire has highlighted Foret .... there are a number of legitimate reasons for this to be adopted .... not least of which is removing the neccessity of having a tube thrust up your rectum. Earlier diagnosis key too.

Once the small US Healthcare funds become aware of this they will buy in at prices even on multiples of this. MDST is somewhar unique in being amongst the first pure medical software analysers which has a very real practical use in cancer diagnostics which actually performs better than specialists for picking up smaller polyps/potential tumours easily missed by busy radiologists overwhelmed by the sheer number of individual pictures they have to monitor. Perfect combination of IT and Medicine which increases productivity/decreases costs that we have long been waiting for. The FDA's nod is far more significant than many realise. imo dyor

Profits anyone's guess, maybe $150m?

Is there a better FDA approved product on the market? I think only one other company has FDA approval.

Shows the 3 to 5 year potential.
