02/10/2009 23:47 | Anyone think it is worth taking the loan notes option ? | red ninja
24/9/2009 20:30 | Apparently they had problem inking the deals then - learn something every day.Looks like they need a partner, just hope for a counter offer.I wonder if this outfit were the bidders last time? | geraldus
24/9/2009 16:36 | Sadly Sandbank the market does not agree with you, although I do take your point. If it [the market] did, the share price would be higher than the 27.5p today, in anticipation of a counter offer/white knight etc., Not that I would say no to a little more cash ... | theoriginalwonderstuff
24/9/2009 14:14 | NOT SO HASTY: Although the directors of MLH have "irrevocably" committed their shares they've only got 35% of the issued capital. This deal is therefore all down to the shareholders - and the shareholders don't like it one bit. Even the chairman of MLH, Ian Townsend, appears to concede this morning that the offer from Consort Medical is a pretty miserly one. He says "The Offer represents a "good" premium to the share price. His use of the adjective "good" - as opposed to "excellent" or "generous" is - in effect - damning the offer with faint praise. The MLH chairman then says "Like many small companies, the market has not recognised the full value of The Medical House". Damn right. That is an open offer for someone else to mount a rival bid. In fact both companies seem to expect a better bid to materialise. This morning's RNS says the board's "irrevocable" undertakings will still continue to be binding even "if a higher offer is made." The MLH shareholders should not surrender and meekly allow their pockets to be picked. | sandbank
24/9/2009 08:48 | Sorry to hear that Wonderstuff; I've been in for a couple of years and this just about gives me a doubler. But it's not a generous bid and I have to say I expected more. | philjeans
24/9/2009 08:46 | Poor premium if you bought it for the potential bid situation ... Got in at a break back of 26.6; so 27.5 is not exactly a great return! Not even sure if in % terms, it's better than the dour high street rates ... Any chance a share holder rebellion ... Esp. as floated at 50p .... | theoriginalwonderstuff
24/9/2009 08:25 | So 27.5p and accepted - someone's got a BARGAIN! But Hey Ho - cash coming in and off for the next one. | philjeans
21/9/2009 16:24 | Breaking out again - promises 30p soon. | philjeans
18/9/2009 16:32 | Nice figures - going on up over time irrespective of bid. Massive potential. | philjeans
18/9/2009 08:34 | smart move...should keep interest up! | mavverick
18/9/2009 07:56 | Good set of results. Hopefully a move higher today! | kish_008
16/9/2009 10:30 | I would expect higher than 33p. An interesting article below relating to investors looking for patents. Bodes well for MLH | kish_008
09/9/2009 14:58 | Handykart - They did mention the autoinjector news. You might be able to access it via Times Online, a 'Tiddler to watch',I read it in the library. - Geraldus Spotts | geraldus
09/9/2009 14:06 | 33p seems a bit tight to me, considering yesterdays Rns.Do they mention the autoinjector USA patent in the article Geraldus. Might go and get a copy later. | handykart
09/9/2009 12:32 | According to the Times today they report that broker Finn Cap now regards an appropriate price for MLH is 33p | geraldus
09/9/2009 04:04 | It's actually managed to rise a little over the last few days which is good to see ... especially after the 25%+ drift south. I wonder if the market thinks there will actually be a bid or if it will all fizzle out again. If it does disappear I think these will be marked down quite rapidly ... back to 15p, or maybe even 12p. I also wonder what we think of the daily Nomura announcements ... Someone is keen to pick up a little stock every day/every other day ... Do we expect a Japanese bidder ... | theoriginalwonderstuff
08/9/2009 08:59 | MLH is doing fine, nice steady rise. | handykart
08/9/2009 08:05 | Better off with RGM by the looks of it | tivoliworldgaming
