I think they may wait until the end of the year to update the market. That's when they usually run out of money and that's when it would be best to do the placing. They had a placing only 7 months ago remember. If they have news to release to the market no point in announcing it yet. So watch out for great "news" in december followed by yet another placing. A placing of a billion shares at 0.2p will give them £200,000 which should keep them going for another year.

They don't need to release the name, just the size of the contract. Anyone who has followed this stock knows it means nothing who they deal with. They have clients such as Nike but so what if the deal is worth buttons. So forget about who the client is, how much is the contract worth?
I still believe this stock is grossly overvalued.

Everybody must realise that Mediazest cannot release the name of the major retailer until the retailer permits them to do so. I am sure Mediazest wants to release the name just as much as we want to know it.

-10%. Nearly at the end of the 2nd quarter. They were expecting to release news on a major project before end of June. This will be critical because without news this company has nothing to keep the share price at its current absurdly high level.

There was a news release on Thursday. Apparently Mediazest won an award for work on the Rockar Hyundai dealership at Bluewater Shopping Centre. Dear oh dear. That's worth an RNS??

Benson: to be fair, I think MDZ have made some poor calls over the years. I believe that things have changed for the better more recently, but maybe I'm wrong. The problem with BBs in general is that 99% of posters hold shares and therefore are positive - if you were not positive, why hold shares?It's useful to have people with opposing views and to remind us that there is no such thing as a sure thing - especially on AIM.

Peterd55...............fair comment(s). Simple question....if he is so negative about a share , even on, reasonable updates from the company, why bother following it and commenting all the time in a very negative manner. Price goes up he is quiet, price goes down you get a set of Bose speakers blasting out !!!!

Good news here has no relationship to profits. Remember the good news they announced about the world cup contract. Almost certainly they lost money on it.

Since the company is likely out of cash again in 6-7 months they may announce a placing shortly after any price spike. I think it would be a very bad idea to buy in on any price spike here.

Too many positives to ignore here. I like the fact the usual advfn crowd have not caught on yet. The last spike was bought up to .65p so plenty of upside left in this oversold stock.
