16/8/2016 09:45 | I recently received a liquidation value of about 7 pence/sh. Less than expected, but neither I can contact Trish Sankey. | skanjete2
16/8/2016 09:08 | Got the cash. Broker did not gave scant details. I thought that the tax treatment of divis changed this year. May have to read up on "liquidation" payments. | russman
11/8/2016 21:33 | Was surprised re. letter received - telling you to keep and pass on to your accountant or tax man, yet when you remove the cheque to cash it no details of amount received or shares owned is left for above named to see? There is a need to scan the whole page before removing the cheque? pc | pc4900074200

29/7/2016 08:29 | Thank you for info. Logistical hurdle of updating a website. Pull the other one. | russman
28/7/2016 14:12 | MDY and other investors held Stanmore via a holding co, SIW Holdings. SIW Holdings is also in MVL and its Declaration of Solvency ( dated 29-6-16 shows a surplus of £28.15m of which £4.5m is an escrow amount and £23.6m is cash. The SIW liquidator is not the same as MDY's (RSM) and the latter is dependent on the former to distribute the cash and unlock the escrow. I am sure that the likes of Abingworth and Imperial Innovations will keep the pressure on the SIW liquidator to make it quick and keep costs low. A first distribution of 7p/share represents most of the cash of £1.53m shown by the MDY Declaration of Solvency (see my post 4169). The remaining distribution(s) are dependent on MDY getting cash from SIW. RSM seems reluctant to publish any progress report claiming the logistical hurdles of sending it to 11,000 (!) MDY shareholders. We might learn more when INO reports in a couple of months time. | culver
28/7/2016 11:54 | It was a cash sale but other bits of old MDY are in liquidation as well. My understanding is they also hold back to cover claims that may come in following the liquidation notice. My recollection is that if liquidators distribute 100% and a valid claim comes in they must pay it themselves. | marksp2011
28/7/2016 10:34 | I thought Stanmore was a cash sale; maybe not in Dollars. Shame. Say 10% left in escrow. I estimated 10p for starters. | russman
27/7/2016 10:33 | The figure is 7p soon and circa 14p in full as per post 4182 | jimmyloser
27/7/2016 09:37 | We started off expecting 15p. Interim divi of 7p seems a bit low to me. | russman
26/7/2016 07:27 | BTW. The source for this is trish sankey | marksp2011
22/7/2016 17:22 | 7p in the next few weeks. In total 10-13p over the next 2 years | marksp2011
20/7/2016 16:25 | From the individual person dealing with the liquidation of Mdy. | hotfinance14
20/7/2016 15:40 | Having read what's on RSM web site -how or where do you get the two weeks to payment hf? pc | pc4900074200
