16/7/2014 18:31 | I could not read a lot into the Annual Report. The valuation of Stanmore was increased but no real detail. | russman
06/5/2014 20:47 | Really!!....how long does it take to ready a company like Stanmore for market? | bos1000
17/2/2014 19:37 | Yes they do and Stanmore is being prepared for market 0 impo Was MDY an allowable income tax loss? | jimmyloser
17/2/2014 19:22 | Mdy must still have a stake in that company..was in Stainimore ? | hotfinance14
17/2/2014 16:04 | In this world nothing can be said to be certain, except death and taxes. | glynedwards
17/2/2014 16:00 | Don't disclose it. | hotfinance14
17/2/2014 10:57 | Just sorting out my CGT for this tax year. From a personal tax point of view, do you think the MDY Special dividend is dividend income or capital gain as they are realising assets and winding down? | glynedwards
26/12/2013 14:06 | I see Frank ruined Xmas again by not delivering his Dec 25th message. wac. | beeks of arabia
28/11/2013 12:22 | Thanks. One way to keep track of Stanmore is to keep an eye on annoucements from IVO. They have a stake in it and tend to give it a mention in their interims/finals. | hoveite
28/11/2013 10:44 | Checked the date and it was pretty old May but still progress Today, WebOps LLC, the leader in medical device field inventory management, announced that Stanmore Implants Worldwide has selected WebOps Logistics as the shared visibility and collaborative workflow platform . Based on extensive research and internal analysis, Stanmore chose WebOps Logistics to become a strategic partner and key component of its supply chain management system. | sweepie2
28/11/2013 09:43 | Where did you see that report of progress with Stanmore sweepie? The only recent news reference to Stanmore I can find is this in the Financial Times which mentions that they are looking at making custom implants using 3D printing. There was also news earlier in the year that they gave up their surgical robot business after a patent dispute with Mako. | hoveite
28/11/2013 08:18 | progress reported at Stanmore, anybody had any clue when we will be receiving our final payment from MDY Thanks | sweepie2
23/6/2013 08:09 | I was not aware of that..more like 10p per share then. | hotfinance14
22/6/2013 21:42 | Where do you get 50p a share from? MDY's Sep 2012 valuation of Stanmore was 2.4m which with 18.28m shares outstanding is around 13p a share. However since then Stanmore have had to exit the surgical robotics business to settle a patent dispute with Mako. I don't know how much of Stanmore's valuation will have been attributable to their surgical robots and how much to their other technologies, but I would have thought that Stanmore's valuation will have taken a hit as a result of the Mako settlement. | hoveite
22/6/2013 17:02 | I will wait for the payment when we sell our interest in Stanmore...estimated at 50p per share. | hotfinance14
22/6/2013 14:59 | Hotfinance Just had a shock, it wasn't a couple of years ago it feb 08 and I got 48.2 for them. Can't believe it was that long ago. Bloody hell doesn't time fly. Rick. | rick the spark
22/6/2013 12:04 | Might have to try to sell these before September then so that I can use the loss against CGT profits elsewhere. Would be handy if they sold up their one investment and shut up shop before that but unlikely, I would think. | gbcol
22/6/2013 11:04 | Worth noting that on the sharemark/file pdf the following - 'MDY Healthcare also announces at this time that it is cancelling its trading facility on the Asset Match trading platform. Therefore, MDY Healthcare's shares will no longer be capable of being traded on Asset Match with effect from 16 September 2013.' Thanks for the links hoveite. pc | pc4900074200
22/6/2013 10:34 | For the time being the shares are still traded on Asset Match/Sharemark and MDY have issued a news release there They also have the news release on their website So I really don't think they can be accused of keeping shareholders in the dark over this special dividend. | hoveite
22/6/2013 10:14 | Opp's they ARE delisted so there is NO need for them to issue a news report. Sorry MDY. pc | pc4900074200
22/6/2013 10:06 | Should have been a news release IMO, acting like a delisted company? As said earlier [4116. Hotf - shafted again] 'We've had your money - now -?]comes to mind? But look on the bright side - every little helps in getting back wasted money? pc rick the spark - money for sell off so no more revenue from there? | pc4900074200
22/6/2013 08:45 | How much per share ? | hotfinance14
21/6/2013 21:04 | Bloody hell and I sold all my shares about 2 years age. I hope that was a mistake I can live with. Rick. | rick the spark
21/6/2013 19:14 | A letter of explanation from Mdy would of helped. Shafted again. | hotfinance14 |
