I don't need to go back through old posts. I was around at the time. The situation that I saw arise was soysoy stepping up to the mark for shareholders and offering to pursue recompense vigorously. A few contributors, myself included, advised that recompense was unlikely and little could be gained but soysoy wanted to see what he could do. This was a very honourable act on his behalf.

You appeared on the scene and belittled what soysoy was trying to do. This continued in a persistent fashion. What you were saying may have been factually accurate and good advice but the way in which you said it was unhelpful. You should have made your point and left soysoy to decide his course. Instead, it has become a running battle, detracting from the progress soysoy made. Everything is now a distant memory and the tiime has come to call it quits.

Thanks for your advice,but I feel if I did not keep the presure on nothing would of happen,

I don`t no what wrong with jaknife I think he was bully at school or he was once or twice been bullied,
I not sure if he knows they is not BURTON IN OXFORD RD LONDON,
I think most pepole are happy how things are going seem that ,got good solictors working on the case and nearest to public enquire going on.and it all free
Who knows what will happen after that

Congratulations on your perseverance with this case. I feel you have been more concerned with justice than actually achieving monetary reward and in this regard you should be thanked.

Unfortunately, as you are no doubt now aware, and which many people previously tried to advise, it has never been realistic that you would achieve any financial return to shareholders. The most you can hope is that those most guilty are brought to justice. The disciplinary hearing should be quick and indicate the likelihood of any further actions. I doubt that shareholders can provide much in the way of any help towards these proceedings, unless they were also company insiders.

I don't understand why Jaknife has felt it necessary to continually berate you and belittle your efforts. It's a bit like trying to kick the good samaritan for helping a dying man - lost cause there mate, give it up! Unfortunately, the man is now dead and yes, you should give up. The authorities will take whatever action they deem appropriate with or without your involvement. I think it unlikely that those most guilty will suffer as they should. It is time to move on.

Disciplinary Hearing Dates

The Disciplinary Tribunal appointed by the Board in relation to the Mayflower Corporation plc will hear formal complaints concerning the conduct of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, Mr David T Donnelly and Mr Ian Jon Shelton during the period commencing on 11th September 2006 and ending on 13th October 2006.

The Disciplinary Tribunal appointed is as follows:

Chairman: Robert Rhodes QC
Laypersons: Bruce Warman; Marion Simmons QC
Accountants: Arthur Harvard FCA; Christopher Whittington FCA

Ms Melanie Carter of DMH Stallard has been appointed as the Secretary to the Tribunal.

The Tribunal will hear the formal complaints in central London and the hearing venue will be confirmed on this website.

they have insurance!

its likely that the directors also have cover to defend themselves, though it may not pay IF they are found guilty

Well it took 2 years and 50 quid of phone calls and my own time
but it well worth it
It`s not cost any Mayflower shareholders any more money
It will cost PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, Mr David T Donnelly and Mr Ian Jon Shelton lot of money to defend themself,and just maybe a prison sentance
if the truth comes out,or when SFO have finished

yes

the end of the gravy train for him (well iro Mayflower at any rate...I imagine he will walk into another cushy position)

such a shame he gets to keep all 'gains' he made at our expense
also such a shame that the goverenment will not actually DO anything
they talk a good story but thats about all

yet they also are losers
we all will offset our losses
Simpson and co will invest their money abroad in case of future needs
