11/1/2017 00:14 | Scyther, just lost my post so a brief summary of my thoughts. No news for a while and definitely overdue in my opinion. Fast Eddie may be keeping his head down until the 4 wells are complete that were part of the GCW agreement. Gas line should be complete and linked to the grid - we are probably selling but have no idea of cost, price or volume. Still no news on the Remediation Plant being completed, Pemex's LOI becoming something more or news on the potential JV with a major US company. Oil price has been climbing all year (currently $53) - we get slightly more as our oil is Louisiana Light Sweet, but we also need to pay $5pb as part of our agreement to get SC. Gas also doing well at $3.24 It is entirely possible we are making good money and that SC is wiping its face, but until we get a RNS about progress we know nothing. Hope is not the best thing to rely on when investing but that seems to be all we have right now. | glibgibon

22/12/2016 18:32 | From RRR annual report available on their web site. Looks like they are at least selling gas. Page 6 "Project Located in the SW corner of Louisiana in the United States, the Shoats Creek Field was initially developed in the 1950s and has produced over 2MMBOE from numerous horizons. The current development phase was begun by Mayan Energy (Ex-Northcote Energy) as an operator in 2015 with one new infill well completed along with multiple recompletions. With oil prices remaining buoyant and drilling costs having fallen significantly the returns on capital employed in the project remain very attractive. Red Rock Resources’ Interest The Company has acquired a 20% working interest in the Lutcher Moore #20 well as well as the future Lutcher Moore #21 and #22 wells. Red Rock has also participated in the Lutcher Moore #19 recompletion and has had discussions with Mayan about becoming a field-wide partner. 20% Working Interest In 3 Wells Current Production In early 2015 Mayan Energy drilled and tested the first well in the redevelopment effort, the LM#20, which was a twin to the historical LM#16 that had been a strong producer until it had to shut down prematurely as a result of mechanical problems. LM#20 reported tested rates of over 250 BO and 500 MCF of gas per day in early 2016. The LM#20 encountered 10’-12’ of pay with an estimated 20% porosity and was perforated over a small interval from 5018-23’. By late 2016 a gas line had been installed which enabled gas to be sold to market from the LM#20. Development Roadmap Following management changes at Mayan Energy during the course of 2016, the Company expects development to proceed anew in 2017. Plans include moving to full production on the LM#19 as well as multiple additional workovers where Red Rock may choose to participate as well as the spud of the new LM#21. | qackers
22/12/2016 08:07 | That would be excellent - on what basis Toolsmoker. Hope or some analysis? I am hoping (and holding 90 odd% down), for what its worth. | peterz |
