Transaction in Own Shares
MayAir Group plc (AIM:MAYA), a leading specialist provider of air purification technology, announces that on 22 November 2016, the Group purchased through Cantor Fitzgerald Europe 20,000 ordinary shares of no par value ("Ordinary Shares") at an average price of 94 pence per share. The purchased shares will be held as treasury shares.
Following the above purchase, the Group holds 499,500 Ordinary Shares in treasury. The total number of Ordinary Shares in issue (excluding treasury shares) is 41,975,500. Therefore, the total number of voting rights in the Company is 41,975,500 which may be used by shareholders as the denominator by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, MayAir under the FCA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
In accordance with Article 5(1)(b) of Regulation (EU) No 596/2014 (the Market Abuse Regulation), the schedule below contains a summary of and detailed information about the purchases made by Cantor Fitzgerald Europe on behalf of the Group as part of the buy-back programme.
