29/6/2011 07:17 | I'm not surprised at Weiss jumping in. As you say, it's a vote of confidence - reassuring that they can't be too concerned about the Euro imploding which was one remaining worry. Given the potential returns here, perhaps they'll push on towards 29%. | zangdook
29/6/2011 07:11 | A major vote of Confidence - Weiss have bought 2,199,218 shares (6.12%) | skyship

23/6/2011 18:49 | badtime - sorry, yes, thought I'd posted as such - perhaps felt guilty! I couldn't resist the 164p to 184p day trade. Interesting trade today - 1.036m @ 1.71p. Thats a 2.9% chunk! | skyship

22/6/2011 13:59 | Bought back in with an exploratory 5k @ 170p. That was over an hour ago; and since then some institutional buyer has hoovered up in excess of 125k @ the same price of 170p. Looks as though I may not get my 2nd cheaper 5k if they continue.... | skyship
20/6/2011 12:26 | thro barclays, max you can buy is 11k@178 whilst selling 5k@165. Does anyone have level2? | johnv

16/6/2011 18:32 | Hi Badtime - will certainly be back in should there be an opportunity below 170p. Have you seen Alan's post with a property companies resume on the CP+ thread? An excellent summary of the many plays in this secondary/tertiary theatre. No doubting that the Best Buys currently are IFD & MCKS... | skyship

04/6/2011 18:54 | MERE v. TEIF.......the race is on for the first to fall to a bidder. At the moment my money is on TEIF after that 6.4% changing hands yesterday! Happy days returning for the small property plays... | skyship
04/6/2011 18:15 | I think there may well be a buyer for the whole lot. They gave notice to the fund manager in Jan 2011 and Karoo bought 10% in April 2011 - only a few weeks ago - this disposal plan must have been known at the time. Still have to wait for shareholder approval - but wouldn't suprise me if straight after approval we get an offer for the whole lot. That is if we don't get a bid for the company in the meantime from Karoo. If not enjoy the gentle flow of cash in dividends and special payments. I would expect the next divi due in a few weeks to also be increased. | geng
04/6/2011 16:28 | 240/250 dont forget the divi | tinytim30
03/6/2011 16:44 | Hey Mathis. I was only joking. As far as I am concerned, if you are right and these are "only" worth 240p after costs then I'm happy to hold a few until they dispose of everything. Indeed, it wouldn't surprise me if they sell the odd property at a premium. They've done it before. And, as has been pointed out above, the rental income alone should be enough to pay off everyone involved in running MERE. | nigelwestm
03/6/2011 13:05 | NigelWM I am not trying to be a wet blanket or urging you to sell. I am just trying to work out how much each share is worth AFTER all the costs are considered. That seems to me to be a prerequisite before deciding whether to buy, sell or hold after this RNS | mathisvale
03/6/2011 10:57 | i.e. Special Dividend City, Arizona! | nigelwestm |
