MartinCo PLC, one of the UK's largest property franchises, announces that Ian Wilson, Chief Executive Officer, has exercised his option over 979,200 ordinary shares ("New Ordinary Shares") which had been granted under an Enterprise Management Incentive Share Option Plan, at an exercise price was 17.64 pence per share.

Accordingly, the application has been made for the New Ordinary Shares to be admitted to trading on AIM ("Admission"). It is expected that Admission will occur on 20 September 2016.

Following Admission, the Company will have 25,300,750 ordinary shares in issue admitted to trading on AIM. This figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator by which they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the FCA 's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
