Jaf111 eps in mmh results were 19.2p but thats for 59million shares when there are in fact 77m shares in issue so 14p ish eps, the old trick of not using total shares in issue.

IMO eps for the enlarged company should be a minimum 25p....so despite the jump from 150p to 180p the shares trade on a rather derisory P/E ratio of 7.5..........am expecting at least a 25% rise in share price over the coming weeks.

Funny old share this... ...on Friday could not even buy 5k on a fill or kill basis at the offer price of 190p. Now its drifting down and much easier to pick up stock.

A little surprised that something with this Mkt Cap can be quite so illiquid.

At last....market likes the strategic acquisition of Ridgeway.

And CEO adding to his shareholding.

Will look forward to revised broker forecasts but on the basis of this being

"massively significant in its earnings per share potential" I do think that today's rise is only the start of a re-rating.

mmh are well spread across all car manufactures, i did not like the 15million divi paid out last year before it listed much like gms did in a bigger amount before listing.

I sold myself on the VW news. I Just figured people would put off buying a car in the hope that VW lowered their prices to atract sales so the others would have to follow suit to protect market share. Until or if that happens there could be a void !. my thinking only.

Eps figure is wrong there r now 77 million shares in issue.

Excellent results -
Revenue increased by 16.0% to GBP632.5m (H1 2014: GBP545.4m)
Profit before tax up 9.8% to GBP10.5m (H1 2014: GBP9.5m)
Earnings per share of 19.7p

Certainly compare well to results out last week from Lookers

What stands out is how cheap Marshall's are....they have already produced almost 20p eps at the interim stage. By comparison Lookers had eps of 8p (share price 160p).

So looking forward to a major re-rating of MMH over coming weeks as investors wake up!

UK new car sales in the year to June rose at the fastest rate on record, a motor industry survey has found.

The Society of Motoring Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT) said there was a 7% rise in new car sales in the first six months of the year, taking the total to more than 1.3 million.
