28/2/2017 16:23 | Does anybody have a suggestion why or where most of the posters who used to post on the LSE board as a daily activity have gone? Is it possible there is a connection to the continuously falling share price? Is it - or both - something investors should reasonably consider the reasons for or is it best to pretend it's not happening? Disclosure: I have sold about two thirds of my holding and that leaves me with the same amount I started with two years ago. No reason to complain on that score. But - obviously - curious about what is happening to the share price and sentiment around this share and why posters on this board are pretending not to see it. It's like it's getting to the point when there'll just be earthling on the other board and proton on this one to turn out the lights. But nobody wants to talk about it out of politeness or not rocking the boat. Fair enough. I won't mention it again if nobody else does. | bookvan
28/2/2017 14:48 | SH, There will be some additional info, but not sure what that would include. Should be any day now. | pr0t0n
28/2/2017 14:36 | pr0t0n - is that just the formal filing of the PEA or will it contain additional information that we haven't seen yet? | sheep_herder
28/2/2017 14:24 | 17/1 rns : A NI-43-101- technical report for the Hot Maden PEA will be filed on SEDAR (www.sedar.com) within 45 days and also be posted on Mariana's website. | pr0t0n
28/2/2017 13:14 | Can't help thinking it'll take more than 6 more holes to get the market interested. For some reason, the usual investors don't want to know. It could be AIM has never really 'got' the story about HM and something seems to be putting the Americans off. | bookvan
28/2/2017 08:15 | They are presenting from 3rd March, perhaps we will get some news this week...or is that just wishful thinking....LOL | barrywhit
28/2/2017 08:01 | Well, not sure why they did not publish results of the last 6 holes drilled last year. I can only assume they would release them in conjunction with the plan to drill 20.000 meters. | pr0t0n
28/2/2017 07:43 | Looks like the TSX.V has taken us down again... | barrywhit
26/2/2017 13:14 | Replied on SOLG. Some comments on MARL. | bookvan
26/2/2017 12:29 | Sorry, wrong thread | mirabeau
26/2/2017 12:00 | I'll start a discussion by posting this link: Please refer to stage 1 on the 'Cycle of a Successful Junior Miner' chart. It's possible that the share price is saying a decision has been made to take HM to production. Just a hunch. Nothing more. I can't see problems arising from the so-called '6 Common Junior Mining Pitfalls'. | bookvan
26/2/2017 11:43 | I'm a MARL holder in profit and the question I am asking myself is: should I put the whole lot into SOLG. Something tells me I am not the only one asking the same question. Good idea or not: comments welcome. Be as rude as you like but full and frank discussion is better. Posting this on both boards. | bookvan
24/2/2017 13:18 | Mariana Resources (LON:MARL) – BUY*: Awalé Resources acquisition Market Cap: £92m; Current Price: 74p Issues shares following closure of acquisition Mariana Resources has completed the acquisition of the 80%-interest in Awalé Resources and will issue 723,511 shares as final consideration. NORTHLAND CAPITAL PARTNERS VIEW: It is positive to see Mariana Resources complete the acquisition of Awalé Resources that owns the Bondouko Gold Project, located in Côte d'Ivoire. In the Bondouko Est concession high-grade gold mineralisation, of up to 36g/t Au, has been defined from initial surface sampling. The concession also has extensive artisanal mining down to c. 30m on high-grade quartz veins that lie within a northwest-southeast trending mineralised corridor, which is believed to have a strike of 18km. | pr0t0n

24/2/2017 08:48 | Check out GPM - Golden Prospect Precious Metals - for a stock that generally lags the gold price. Always a day behind a gold stock rally. | greenrichard

20/2/2017 08:35 | Mirabeau, You are very welcome. Thank you for the feedback. Chip | chipperfrd
19/2/2017 19:38 | There are lots of gold projects represented on Aim, but Mariana Resources (MARL) can lay claim to a stake – through its 30 per cent holding in the Hot Maden asset in Eastern Turkey – to the highest grades. Although a pre-feasibility study is not expected until the third quarter of 2017, drilling to date has consistently revealed some of the highest ore grades seen in years. A pre-economic assessment published in January stated that Mariana and senior partner Lidya Madencilik are working to a base case of 11 grammes per tonne of gold and 1.9 per cent copper, both of which are well below grades seen in a string of bonanza strikes – including a 69.6m interval of 62.7 grammes per tonne of gold and 2.68 per cent copper. It is only right that Mariana pushes ahead with a mining plan, but we think the cashed-up gold majors are bound to be interested at the current valuation. Commodity: gold, copper. | bittorrent
19/2/2017 18:58 | Chips I hope you don't mind but I have copied your recent post (2659) onto L-S-E where other MARL holders will, I am certain, greatly appreciate your insight Thanks | mirabeau
