19/1/2017 11:17 | Turkey cannot afford to scare away foreign investors. His asset seizures were specifically targetting companies that Erdogan believed were Gulen supporters and who were financing Gulen's political activities. The gold company to which this idiot is referring to is a gold company owned by a supposed Gulen supporter which is why Erdogan targetted it Look at CEY in Egypt! Look at the political risk in that country fgs. Egypt's been on the brink for years. At least Turkey does have a western style economy with excellent infrastructure. We have an excellent partnership with Lidya which I believe provides insulation from political shenanigans It's odd that cretins suddenly appear on this and other threads (Canadian threads) with legacy news a day after the PEA released. Now that reeks of scare-mongering | gersemi
19/1/2017 11:12 | Bloomberg in my opinion is sensationalist bit like the daily express.....over egg everything. Not long before the humble Mr D Trump gets his hands on the reins and loads up his six shooter!! gold set to rise in my opinion.GLA HOLDERS | wisteria2
19/1/2017 11:08 | The rule of law is not really present in Turkey. It's being run by a dictator and his supporters. Did you note from your link that at least one of the companies whose assets were confiscated was a gold company? It's easy to make accusations of terrorism to damage one's business rivals. Turkey's currency is in the toilet and is likely to sink altogether under the weight of debts owed by private companies in dollar loans. I'd say that the crisis will really hit after the summer when the Dollar is likely to rise strongly again. I deleted my post as I thought it might appear that I was a shorter and I've never done that with PM stocks. There are too many out to damage PM stocks by doing that. Well done on your investment here but be aware of the deteriorating political and economic situation in Turkey. The Financial Times's article was absolutely damning. It's a red flag. | dogberry202000
19/1/2017 10:40 | dogberry, Not sure why you deleted your post. Yes, there is a risk , but not in a way you described it. That`s why I posted bloombergs link. | pr0t0n

18/1/2017 22:03 | Lol GG. SH, There are all good questions but some can not be answered only speculated. PEA is based on 62 holes drilled, they are up to 93 now. Best results to date were from infill drilling ^program designed to uniformally reduce drill hole spacings to 25m x 25m and to provide both detailed geotechnical data and metallurgical samples for mine development studies^. which will be included in PFS. 20000 meter program will start soon :"Planned budgeted drilling for 2017 of 20,000m will be focused on the areas that have been delivering to date, as well as the untested area to the south, the "Russian Mining area". PFS explained here: EDIT : One more thing....offer could come at anytime. | pr0t0n
18/1/2017 21:37 | Where do we send the bill? | goodgrief
18/1/2017 20:57 | OK, so I've had a read and have a few questions. What are the next steps and what is the timeframe? I can see that they have another, slightly more detailed, report coming out at the end of 2017 (PFS). What does this do aside from add confidence to their inferred numbers? I see they're also continuing exploration of other areas of the site so they could upsize the estimates if they find more. What happens after the PFS and how long from there to begining work on the mine itself. And how long is the construction phase of a mine usually? As an aside, when compared to what I could find on 'investible' mines, the NPV and IRR are huge aren't they? Why hasn't the share price gone through the roof since yesterday? Cheers. | sheep_herder

18/1/2017 18:18 | This from a Canadian site: It's from Taylor Dart..now he's guessing at a AISC of under $375/oz..that figure is absolutely incredible when you look as some other gold mines around the world. I think the next lowest is around $550-$600..and Dart reckons this figure may fall even lower than that.. * 'Hi Team, Sorry for the lack of replies following the PEA, still waiting on further confirmation from IR before I go into numbers as I'm doing my best to convert tonnage costs to all-in sustaining cash costs to make it easier for us to understand. If I had to make a completely conservative guess just to give a small update, it looks like the project will be producing at under $375/oz all-in sustaining cash costs, with 290,000 ounces per year of production, and this is based on what I believe to be half of the current resource. With a new resource estimate we can bring more ounces into higher confidence categories and likely add grades as well, this would lower the costs even more. Once I have a better idea of the exact costs and parameters Ill be releasing an article with comparisons. Thanks for your patience, Taylor Dart' * | gersemi
18/1/2017 16:10 | Ref: POST 2477 Thanks pr0t0n....love this bit below.... "The underground mine will produce an average of 288,000oz of gold and 15,800t of copper per year which would result in average revenue per annum of c. US$443m (£351m) at current metal prices, which would be c. US$133m (£108m) in net revenue to Mariana Resources per annum, more than the Company’s current market cap." | cpap man
