It's a mouth watering resource but Marl only has 30% of it, and Turkey looks more like a dictatorship than anything else. Add in all the nepotism along with getting matey with Putin and it doesn't feel safe.

Any one else going to the MINING CAPITAL CONFERENCE in the City of London on the 1st of December?

MARL are one of 6 mining companies attending - makes me think that the MAJOR news will for sure be out from MARL prior to this conference otherwise they will not have much to talk about!

Actually, that makes me a bit more nervous. They (The government) have been knocking out a load of US Tbills lately. With war drums in the area sounding every so often, I'm just wondering whether Erdogan is going through the process of re aligning Turkey with the east over the west. I'll just have to keep a close eye on things. I'm in only with small money here, but thanks for the info.

Let me put your mind at rest regarding your investment

Mariana's JV partner is Lidya Madencilik. Lidya is a subsidiary of Calik Holding SA. The owner of Calik is Ahmet Calik who is a very close associate of President Erdogan.

The former CEO of Calik used to be Berat Albayrak who is now married to the daughter of Erdogan. Berat Albayrak is now the Turkish Minister of Natural Resources including issues surrounding licences and permits for gold, silver, copper etc etc

Ahmet Calik gave a job to Erdogan's prospective son-in-law as a favour to Erdogan..

these two families are closely linked ie as close as you can get..

Lidya are by far the best partner we could have in Turkey as they offer Mariana huge political protection and anyway Erdogan can't afford to terrify foreign investors with sequestrations and the like, they need the foreign investment

I bought some a few weeks ago just before the 1:10 reverse split so not doing too bad. I'd like to think the company are able to get a decent price following the PEA and PFS which I think they will

1 v 3 on L2 now with 3 MM's offering at 10k each 78p and 1 MM bidding at 77p..need to chop through that 30k with the next MM at 81p

It`s one of the kind so to speak.
There is no doubt in my mind that Hot Maden holds in excess of 10 million ounces( see map).
Of course, it would take great deal of dollars and drilling to prove that.
Production would last for 20-30 years if not more.
For the small explorer like MARL there is always balance between dilution and sale if suitable offer comes in.
Next few months should be interesting.....
