02/3/2006 15:53 | S, Patent infringement - one case continuing...company is defending vigorously and expects costs re this to remain as current levels Acquisitions - nothing specific as I recall, but positive on possibility. Europe - lots of talk of international expansion incl Europe, though nothing specific other than expectation of headcount increase outside Canada. >M | milesy
02/3/2006 15:33 | Breakout on good volume usually a positive sign | lasata
02/3/2006 15:33 | I missed the call I'm afraid. If anyone caught it,were there any developments re: 1. Patent infringement claim. 2. Potential acquisitions. 3. Europe? Thanks | sivadnoj

02/3/2006 14:20 | Thanks Madmix - sounds like there should be greater visibility of March in UK/Europe by end 06 given the emphasis on expansion of international ops. >M | milesy

02/3/2006 13:16 | BST = GMT+1 so it should have happened at 12.30pm? I'll be trying to listen to the replay when I get home. | sranmal
02/3/2006 13:03 | Could someone confirm the time of the call please. 1.30pm BST = 2.30pm this afternoon? Thanks | sivadnoj
02/3/2006 10:27 | I reckon Evolution will have to upgrade their price target... | mitzis
02/3/2006 09:34 | Very good news about the margins I think. Suggests either (or all of!): (1)no real competition for them in their chosen markets; (2) the product is sufficiently good compared to the competition that customers are prepared to pay a premium; (3) Costs under control and efficiencies being realised; (4)Inherently conservative forecasts. Looking forward to the call... | sivadnoj
01/3/2006 23:36 | RBC forecast EPS for Q3 was 22c (revenues $20M), Q4 is 23c (revenues $21.2M). They may have to upgrade now due to consistently high margins! | sranmal
01/3/2006 23:16 | Will be interesting to see reaction tomorrow Ottowa Business Journal were saying ananlysts predicted 22c per share, it's comfortably beyond that! | lordcoco
01/3/2006 23:09 | I think FY results may surprise on the upside too. YTD earnings are C$13.1M - MNW forecast FY earnings in the range C$16-18M. Earnings for the 3 quarters have been C$2.8M, $5.1M, $5.2M. Merely matching Q3 would give FY earnings of $18.3M, beating the top end of the guidance. Webcast tomorrow should be interesting as you say. edit - yep, exiting healthcare may add something too. | sranmal
01/3/2006 23:01 | Also seems to be very healthy cash generation - $6.6m, more than the previous six months combined. I take it the exiting/sale of the Healthcare business is going to have a positive impact at year end too, which has not been accounted for? | lordcoco

01/3/2006 22:55 | Yes, pretty good considering "excptional" Q2 and a generally expected weak quarter. Fourth quarter "expectations" sounds interesting, maybe find out a bit more tomorrow. No double digit growth this time round though, oh well. | lordcoco
01/3/2006 22:38 | There we go: Pretty good in all. Just beat Q2 results in what was supposed to be a weak Q due to seasonal factors. Matched Q2 earnings of 30c (RBC expected 22c!). Raised FY profit forecast to C$16M-C$18M from previous guidance of C$14.0M-C$16.0M due to better margins. | sranmal
01/3/2006 22:06 | Trying to figure out when Q3 results are out - stated to be 17.30 ET which should be 10.30pm over here? Find out if I'm right in 25 mins then! | sranmal
01/3/2006 18:56 | Thanks m8.....currently pushing $40 at the mom... | mitzis |
