Man Group plc (the "Company") announces that on 23(rd) October 2017 it purchased for cancellation 224,696 of its ordinary shares with a weighted average price of 190.0546 pence per ordinary share pursuant to its US$100 million share repurchase programme, details of which were announced on 13(th) October 2017. The highest price paid per share was 190.6 pence and the lowest price paid per share was 189.2 pence. Details of the relevant repurchase transactions are set out below:

Since the commencement of the share repurchase programme, the Company has repurchased 816,571 ordinary shares in aggregate at a weighted average price of 189.7033 pence per share.

Following the cancellation of these shares, the remaining number of ordinary shares in issue will be 1,652,947,520.

The Company does not hold any shares in treasury.
