Man Group plc (the "Company") announces that on 3 August 2017 it purchased for cancellation 82,594 of its ordinary shares with a weighted average price of 167.8568 pence per ordinary share pursuant to its $100 million share repurchase programme, details of which were announced on 14 October 2016. The highest price paid per share was 169.00 pence and the lowest price paid per share was 166.40 pence. Details of the relevant repurchase transactions are set out below:

Since the commencement of the share repurchase programme, the Company has repurchased 56,549,022 ordinary shares in aggregate at a weighted average price of 132.1974 pence per share.

Following the cancellation of these shares, the remaining number of ordinary shares in issue will be 1,655,436,741.

The Company does not hold any shares in treasury.
