Q2 Highlights to 30 June 2015

* 11 new wells commenced production bringing the total number of producing
wells to 195 as at end of Q2 2015 - a further 31 at various stages of
development
* Elected to participate in 16 new wells in proven formations including the
Bakken and Three Forks Sanish, North Dakota and the Mississippi Lime and
Woodford formations in Oklahoma
* Announced record 2014 Full Year performance: 58% increase in FY revenues to
US$3.85 million with an additional US$1.3 million income from one-off
consulting services and the sale of non-core assets leading to adjusted
EBITDA of US$2.60 million, a 212% increase on the previous year

there's only one direction for MAGP to go and that's

to the salty SOUTH.

this one well doesn't affect all their existing producing wells, which are still happpily producing oil for the company. At just a small £6mill market cap, I am very happy with the risk reward potential of them having cracks at a majority owned well, and the upsode if they succeed in one, otherwise its business as usuall with their multitude of smaller interests wells still doing their job.

spot on Gnome; he's obviously lost on shares and is bitter, and doesn't like the thought of other people being positive and trying to make money because he can't anymore. There's plenty of people like that about and all they can do is belittle any companies attempts; best ignored.

every drill provides extra information that can help towards the next. Hopefully they work out a better location with a greater chance of commercial success. In the meantime, plenty of wells just ticking over for them, providing production and income. Mcap of just £7m; it doesn't have to be a monster to have a significant positive impact on the share price

What makes you so sure that the next drill will not have high volume of saline?

Potentially the next well could be P&A.

Value point to pick some more up ahead of their next production increase announcement. Magnolia are still very active in many wells with other parties. Unfortunate that this current well wasn't an outright success, but they will have another crack i'm sure and just one success of a 94% owned well will be transformational for them and the sp, but in the mean time they have several small interests in progress. We will still see a strong recovery in time from this level.

1.2 would be very nice! would still only take us back to where we were in just November last year, and still only value us at £12mill, so that is very doable IMO.
