gogoneko you pompous ars*

my comment was intended to express incredulity at the prospect of this tiny co completing anything more than the odd small acqn let alone 'a raft' of them in spite of their stated intention to do so.

As for you feeling an obligation to educate me don't bother as it would be futile as the quality of your posts indicates you have nothing whatsoever to teach me.

At least MLR is cash positive----

Credit crisis 'still poses risks'
The Bank of England
The Bank of England is concerned about more sub-prime problems
The UK remains vulnerable to further fallout from the recent credit crunch that has gripped world markets, a Bank of England report warns.

The central bank said British sub-prime borrowers could encounter problems obtaining credit because banks faced higher borrowing costs.

The impact of the credit crunch, which was so disastrous for Northern Rock, might not be fully apparent, it said.

The report also said share prices could slide after recent sharp gains.

Sub-prime mortgages are those sold to people with poor credit histories and thus a greater chance of defaulting.

'Further shocks'

"There have been signs of recovery in recent weeks but some markets are still illiquid and the financial system remains vulnerable to further shocks," said Sir John Gieve, the Bank of England's deputy governor.

It said problems could also surface in the commercial property sector, which accounts for 9% of UK bank lending.

Lenders have been tightening the terms of loans to build office space and shops.

The Bank of England said credit could also be tighter for highly indebted companies as well as individual borrowers with poor credit histories.

The bank also warned that the dollar may be vulnerable to further falls.

Overall UK banks have had to fund an estimated £147bn of mortgage-backed securities, company buyouts and other debt vehicles that previously would have been sold to other investors, the report said.

nice tick up today on both bid and offer. I expect MLR to move higher the closer to the results that we get.

In my opinion the results will be excellent!

Oh Gogoneko .. please educate us lesser mortals... they have always said growth by acquisition ...increasing sales and partnerships will only get them so far .. the model works best teh more products in the portfolio ..

redrenault2, by expanding their existing portfolio, maybe?

I never cease to be amazed why they have not MANY YEARS ago rolled out Volplex into Europe and other countries under the 'mutual recognition' banner. It has better properties than the existing volume fluids used.

If Drury was still in charge both Volplex and Propofol would have made this company great - but that's what comes of telling fibs about a silly little thing like your mortgage.

they have always said they want to grow by acquisition. Buying up old portfolios of drugs, esp as they pulled out of the phase2/3 trials.. How else will a company like this grow??

Let the trend be you friend----there are always rumours but I dont trust them, although for sure there is something blowing in the wind----dont know why though as this was once £2 a share with bascially the same products, which were mismanaged.

The trend is to sell and this is not good so close to results---
