I do not think that 2.4M is significant - it is less than £7k and less than 0.5% of the share capital.

Not too sure what to make of that 2.4M trade at 0.275...
If you look back to the 19th (same amount rang a bell with me) you'll see the same amount of 2.4M at the SAME price!!
Also at the time of that trade (though it was delayed on that day) both the bid and offer were the exact same as it is today...
Anyone come across the same kind of thing in the past?
Could it be an indicator of some kind, either positive or negative?
Or maybe it's nothing...

Simeon7 > er... if you're that bored, why not read this thread going back about 2 months - your question will be answered but the basis of the whole thing is that one of the bidders for VUE is the son of MBF's Deputy Chairman. Their family also used to own VUE...
MBF will change their name to Bella Media on 10 Sept on approval at a meeting on that day. Bella Media will be constructing a number of IMAX cinemas in the US and possibly China also.
So take all that into consideration, read the thread and let us know what you come up with eh...

I know absolutely naff all about this stock, but have been watching trading closely over the past few days (I also hold about 20k for some strange reason).

The trades page is quite similar to another stock I invest in - SIP, in that it seems like no buys are going through and everything is a sell, yet the price stays static. SIP then suddenly jumed 40% for no reason.

Just thought I would bring this to your attention, as I am bored.

PS : What has the Vivendi auction got to do with MBF?
