SP down almost 50% this year. A purchase, by a Director, of 15,500 shares @ 64p per share in September does not give me much confidence in this one at the moment, but as I am still in profit will hold. Should have sold out at >90 a few months ago but never mind........

Uncrossed at the lowest price of the day (49.5p). Now on a p/e ratio of 9 for the year ending 30 November 2014.

I didn't think the ims of 15 October was that bad. Presumably the seller takes a different view.

Another update due towards the end of December? Then finals around the beginning of February.

May test the recent lows.

Hmmm .... I don't like the sound of that.

I'd suggest avoiding level crossings and tall buildings.

If you must test the recent lows, you should do it through talking to someone.

Thinking this is a good entry point so bought a small position here. Only ⅓ of potential holding so will see how it goes.

Looking at the above chart, its 50.5 and the resistance was 50.. happy days.

Has been way oversold. This statement should restore some stability in the share price

Well that interim statement should restore some confidence particularly to the maintenance of dividend which on current share price is over 5.5%

Don't forget the massive infrastructure investment that needs to happen in Europe after fiscal consolidation. Also Known As, fill in the potholes!

That's actually a very positive statement! Shows that Europe construction projects are slowing down while other parts of the world are ramping up. Don't also forget the rebuilding that will need to take place in Syria, Ukraine, etc, etc.

Think this is a bit oversold now. Bought in the 40's in 2010 and 2012 and made at least 50% each time.

That's the issue for me as well. A very deliberately worded optimistic statement earlier this year from a well regarded Chairman, and phut it all blows up. This has given rise to a credibility issue in my view. Do they have much visibility on orders? Are they not very good at forecasting?. Are they using currency as an excuse? For sure market conditions can change -up and down-but why be so optimistic earlier?
Wonder if the new ceo wanted the forecasts down a bit!
The next time LWB puts out an upbeat statement the market might well chose to ignore it! I am though quite impressed by the decent size management share purchases on Friday

All well and good but my worry is are the mgt in control of their own destiny after that out of the blue warning?

Worth noting the RNS issued late on Friday afternoon, reporting that both the NX Chairman Martin Flower and the CEO Brett Simpson bought 75K shares @65.5p apiece, worth almost £100K.
