I am too but out for now as thought the share price had got ahead of itself. I still think a downward correction is due but I have been wrong before.

Chart has broken out of its range. News on the horizon?

Lots of buying activity.

It looks like it can't wait to get to 78p and beyond. The time is now folks.

Well in m y limited experience this is a first--IC tipped the shares as a Buy on 12 July and the price has hardly reacted.

I liked the phrase "L&B's expertise and know-how provide significant barriers to entry". The usual 40/60split in profits to the second half is likely to be 30/70 this year.

Underwhelmed by interim results.

Prospects look good but price looks too high to me. I expect a retrace over the next few months until prospects are justified by results (or maybe not?).

Very detailed research note out by Edison, suggesting LWB can outperform as management restructure for growth beyond European core.

Low & Bonar

Wider ambitions
Outlook | Basic Industries | 11/06/2013
Forming the Bonar division, by combining the group's two largest operating companies, is the clearest indication yet that management is intent on gaining exposure to faster-growing markets outside Europe. This can enhance existing earnings growth rates and support rating expansion from the current 9.3x prospective P/E ratio. ...

Only a guess, but looks like today's 3 trades of 1.4m at 70.5p will prove to have been matched against yesterday's 1 deal of 1.5m at 70p.

Further guess: Seller -Legal & General ?; Buyer -Cazenove or J O Hambro ?

Downbeat IMS and 5% drop:

"The Flooring, Industrial, Transport and Artificial Grass Yarns sectors have started the year well. Demand for our Civil Engineering products has been slower, influenced by the particularly harsh weather conditions across Europe, but we anticipate a return to more normal levels of activity during the second quarter.

The Group is continuing to invest for future growth and remains on track to deliver another year of progress."

Bought into this on the open this morning - trying to break out of that consolidation over the last few weeks, within the new uptrend. GLTA.

Highest it has been in 18 months, ticking up nicely and deservedly so on recent results. Is there more to come?

Its possible.

Good business and good cash flow. And most important very good management.

Indeed, it is heading in the right direction, hvs.

And by the sound of it, a lot of the investment/restructuring benefits are yet to flow through to the bottom line.

It could be a stellar performer once Europe starts to recover.

Back to 200p+ in due course?
