hopefully the beginning of a recovery in the share price was surprised at the falls over the last 5-6 months as every year when i get my car serviced/have the MOT at my local Lookers they rip me off with a huge bill.

Added a few LOOK back over the last week but can't say I'm particularly optimistic
on the sector atm, Inch has drifted down without the daily buy backs.

Yes. The buy side appears well supported. Some of this may be Odey trying to buy back about 2 million shares?

No bids so far during this period of unpopularity, for any of the UK listed motor traders. With p/e ratios around 7 to 8, low interest rates on commercial borrowing and Sterling having lost 10 or 15%, I thought we might see some action with buyers from overseas.

Would have liked confirmation of the net debt figure as of the 30/09.

Someone was trying to buy a large quantity of shares at 111p in the closing auction today. I'd guess this was Odey. They have to buy back at some point and the rising share price will have them twitching. Holders have the upper hand, imo.

Sale of the Parts Division and acquisition of Warwick Holdings Limited

As previously announced on 9 August 2016, Lookers entered into a conditional agreement to sell its parts business to Alliance Automotive UK Ltd on a debt free and cash free basis, for a consideration of GBP120 million payable in cash on completion (the "Transaction").

The Company is pleased to announce that the Transaction completed on 4 November 2016.

As previously announced on 15 August 2016, Lookers entered into a conditional agreement to acquire Warwick Holdings Ltd, trading as Drayton Motor Group, for GBP55.4m in cash (the "Acquisition").

The Company is pleased to announce that the Acquisition completed on 4 November 2016.

Odey trying to buy some back today?

It might not be easy for them to unwind.

Short term chart's looking favourable for longs, imo. I can see it going above 120p fairly soon.

vic, as previously mentioned was hoping this would drift towards 90 pence,
not sure that will now happen unless the parts sale did not complete.

If Mr Odey is short from much higher up he has done very nicely.

Agree with him on DEB, would be cautious there just IMV.

My average holding price on Look is at 99 pence, and have the recent divi
on 20% of those as well.

Would add a few more if we drifted down, just a small position for me atm,
a few K unlike CO with a few million!.
