Careful. Also agreed !This is a leveraged play against platinum prices basically. Above 1000 bucks an ounce, this will fly. Worth the risk at these levels.

An interesting punt is LMI.
After raising just under $400m in the rights issue just over 12 months ago,
LMI were soon valued at £715m ($1100m.)

Today just 12 months later they are valued at £261m ($316m.)
Recent results were poor as were production numbers.
Yet only 12 months ago Kaz and Glen, were considered to be worthless.
Each have risen 4 fold or more in that time.

Dealy. Agree with your post. Also if you look very simply at how this trades, I've noted 7 occasions in the last twelve months when this has taken a hit, then recovered just as quickly (quicker in fact). Let's see what happens....

drop from 135p has occurred on about 10m shares being traded in the UK. That's about 5% of the free float. It could be a takeover target at this level and without the debt it is a very different proposition for a buyer this time

It is not. There is plenty of platinum on the market and therefore Lonmin cant make money at this prices. Lonmin is lossmaking company.

Bottom could be zero, it's happened before. Hell of a downtrend with no sign of a recovery at the present
